Thursday of week 7: Belly Fat Cure

Hello, I still feel great every day that I don't go  back to my old habbits. I am also even glad when I get on the scale in the morning & my weight has not gone back up. Today it was the same 210. Which I haven't seen for a long time. It's so funny - but my weight goes up and down 5 lbs over night. I go to sleep as 215 and wake up at 210. How do you think that works. ????

This morning my husband and I had to go to this seminar. It was casual so I wore jeans. But I decided to wear these jeans from the back of the closet. You know, those ones that choke and strangle you to death but you refuse to get rid of - cause - ONE DAY I WILL LOOSE WEIGHT AND THEY WILL FIT. Or - I paid too much money to just throw them away!!

So I put them on and they fit - (this is where you would here that angel music) and the waist was a bit too loose - so I had to get out the belt. The only belt that ever fits me if I suck i in. But not today. It fit and I had to move over to the second hole.  WWWOOO HHHOOO!!!

So when we were at the seminar - all they had was one of those set ups with all kinds of snacks, fruit sandwiches, bagels, pastries, etc.  But I really don't crave any of that stuff any more. Not like I did in the 1rst 3 weeks.

My thought for the day: Even if your weight didn't go down today, but didn't go up either. It's a great day!!

  2. Hey great job!! Keep it up. I am on week 3 and I don't think I have lost anything yet. I am 140 and my problem is that I have a bit of a tummy but I can't see that it has gone down any yet. :( do you think that's because I don't have a lot to lose so it might take longer?

  3. Possibly, that couold be the reason. But even if you don't loose, You will feel sooooo great. I know I do. Don't give up. :)

  4. Great thought for the day and congrats on your weight loss and the jeans!!! My jeans are still in the back of my closet......but not giving up. Lost 10 lbs and 2 inches the first 2 weeks on the program, but very slow now. I am now on week 5 and stay within the guidelines of 5/2 per meal and 15/6for the day and really feel great! Cravings are gone and I don't get hungry. Usually eat at least 25g of fiber from "good carbs" each day. I do drink Jorge's Belly Fat Cure Drink from his book at least 2times a week (with plain water) just for a good "cleanse".

    I agree..I am grateful is my weight doesn't go up, even if I get stuck going down. We sound like elevators.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
