Sunday of week 7: Belly Fat Cure

Today My husband and I went to back to the Health Expo in Anahiem. Somehow he got us free passes and today was the last day. I've got to tell you that we had so much fun!! Between Friday and today we got like 6 bags of stuff and free samples and some junk too. I am so glad to be home and not have to carry those heavy bags.

Its funny how all these companies had booths of all these so-called Organic and Healthy products. Some of them had such a high sugar content. I did taste quite a few things but I was careful to look at the labels first.  I was plesantly surprised of how many things were sweetened with Stevia. Before I started the BFC, I am sorry to say that I never heard of Stevia. I used to use splenda and equal I thought they were the better of the sweeteners. I now use Truvia every day, and really love the taste the best so far.

I am going to weigh in tomorrow morning. I hope at least if it does not go down - it will not go up.

My thought for today: Watch out for those healthy products in disguise. Look at the labels for the (loses). Thats what I call them, sucralose, dextrose, fructlose.

Good Luck everybody! And Keep On BFC 'n !!   : )

  1. Those expose are so much fun. We haven't been to any lately, but I started pulling one of those shopping bag things with wheels to hold the stuff. That way if it got to crowded I could pick it up, put at least I could roll it sometimes.

  3. How are you doing with the fiber thing? I am really tired of trying to find the magic cure. My weight goes up and down because nothing is working very well.

I use it in my coffee in the morning & I have a protien shake bet lunch & dinner & put some in there along with some ground flax seeds 4 grms of fiber. so thats 14 form those. & then what I eat. I'm still not all the way but I'm still trying.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
