Monday of week 7: Belly Fat Cure


First I just want to say how great I feel by staying away from sugar for 6 whole weeks. I thought I could never do it - but here I am 6 weeks later. I only lost weight in the 1rst 2 weeks & then nothing. I was getting dissapointed. I go on Facebook fan pages for the BFC and read all these comments of how great it is and how everyone is loosing weight but me.
So my official weigh-in is on Monday. Even though I can't seem to stay off of it. LOL
I go to the bathroom, take off all my clothes (cause u know they will add like 10lbs LOL), and the I yelled OMG!! I lost 4 more lbs. I am now dwn to 210. I know that sounds fat - but its been a long time since I was there. My goal is to get to bet 145-150lbs.
I never gave up! So don't you give up either. Maybe it will take longer for big girls like me.
I really have hope today that maybe I will actually see that size 10 or12 again.

  1. Seventeen pounds total..that is great. So far I have lost a little
    each week that I have been doing it.
    But, I have to remind myself that even if I don't lose - I am not gaining. Keep up the good work.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
