Hello My Friends,
I seriously miss bloggin every day like I used to. For those of you that still come here or are new to this blog, I discovered the BFC 5 years ago and was able to lose over 90 lbs in 1 year and kept if off and have been eating healthy every since.
I think if you are new at trying to lose weight, go back to the beginning of my blog and read about all the trials and hardships it was for me to do this. I am just a regular person who got way too fat over time.
I ballooned up to 238 lbs and was between a size 18-20. I had it set in my hear that I was doomed to be that size for the rest of my life. I just KNEW that would never change at my age. I did not look at myself in the mirror much.
I was never and am not much of a drug-taking person. I don't believe in drugs to help me lose weight or to make me feel better or deal with stress. I don't even take asprins until my headache hasn't gone away for several hours. I guess I am a gluten for punishment.
But SURPRISE!! Look at me now. I surprised everyone that knew me and most of all myself.
I want you to know that if you are one of those people that are like I was - There IS HOPE!!!
When I started this new life I was not working and blogged all the time. I try to now to blog as often I can, but its not easy now that I work. All the awesome recipes that I created or Tweaked or found are her for you on the tab above that says - RECIPES.
I LOVE-LOVE eating healthy and this blog is for YOU - to let you know that you CAN do IT!!
Thanks for listening - Lots of LOVE to you all...
Keep on BFC ' n :-)

Some tips if you are having trouble
- First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
- Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
- Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
- Make sure you drink lots of water.
- Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
- Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
- Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
- Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
I hope this helps.

ReplyDeleteThanks for being you. Cheers to a happy 2015!
ReplyDeleteI needed to read this today! I was successful with BFC in the past and am back. Being reminded after watching your videos that even when there is no weight loss for the week to keep going. It's not about willpower or discipline as much as CONSISTENCY. Thanks to you Rosy, I know I can lose my 18 pounds.
