Busy

Good Morning Friends,

I seem to be a little busy and can't post as often as I would like anymore. But I try.

Saturday and Sunday I just stayed home and did stuff around here. I seriously feel like I am getting old. Can't do so much physical work like I used to. Tried to pull weeds in the front and spray for weeds in the back, clean inside then realized the vacuum is broken now.

Remember that I told you Hubby was (insert finger quotes here) TRYING to help by dusting and vacuuming for me? Yeah well - he broke it. Yeah a dyson. Its a canister one and the bottom thingy wouldn't turn. He was at work, so this morning he finally confessed what he did. He actually took off the bottom attachment and hosed it off cause he said he got it too dirty by vacuuming the rugs in the garage. REALLY??

Well he took it apart and says it works now. Oh well.

Yesterday morning I was fixing my breakfast and lunch for work and had 2 bowls on the counter, 1 for a waffle and 1 for some corn tortillas to go with my turkey chili for lunch. I always put chia seeds in everything so - 1 spoon in each bowl. Then I guess I got them mixed up and put flaxseed in the corn tortilla bowl. It actually didn't taste too bad.
My breakfast this morning - before work.

I just love it around here - such gorgeous views every day while me and the furry kids go for our walks after work.

  3. Hi Rosalie. Can you tell me was the S/C count for the individual pumpkin waffles you posted not to long ago? BTW the pictures are beautiful, we don't have mountains in florida, but the beaches here are beautiful. Lol.

  5. I hate when our vacuums break down. Usually though, it's because one of my kids ran over something without stopping first to pick it up!! Beautiful view. I miss the views in California. Where my parents live (in Seal Beach) we have a beautiful view of the mountains. Miss the weather most of all. Enjoy and have a great weekend! :)

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
