YES even YOU!

Good Morning Friends,

For those of you that are new here and trying to be healthy and lose weight - WELCOME!

I know how you are feeling, that you feel hopeless - useless - fat - ugly - I can NEVER lose weight at my age - why bother - RIGHT?? I felt that way and even on occasion  - still do. When you were as big as me, It never really goes away all the way.

If you are mentally ready - really ready - then this WILL work. YES even YOU! Your head needs to be right.

Follow Jorge's original BFC and start eating REAL FOOD... No more processed CRAP food, no diet or artificial sweeteners. Remember....REAL FAT is your friend.

Stop looking and counting calories - THAT Doesn't work. TRUST ME

Eat 3 meals a day. When you skip - you are only hurting yourself.

You don't need 2 servings of carbs at every meal if you don't want (1 serving is OK) and don't eat any carbs with dinner and be done with your dinner by 7pm. No food after that.

If you are not hungry between meals - then you don't need snacks.

Stick to under 5/2 (5 grams of sugars and 2 servings of carbs) for each meal. DON'T gio Over!

Don't let the food bullies influence you or talk you into eating anything bad. STICK to what you know is right.

Don't skips carbs commpletely or feel like you are limiting and depriving yourself. The way you eat now has to be the way you will eat forever - so do it right. I have lots of healthy recipes on here that I have accumulated. I always make sweet treats regularly so I can eat one every day. The sweet tooth monster resides within me for sure.

Never take a cheat day or even a cheat meal - that WON'T EVER Work!

You Can NEVER eat the way you did before - or you will  look the way you did before. Its as simple as that.

And MOST of all... NEVER GIVE UP! - Never QUIT! You will  lose weight at first  - then it will come to a crashing halt. Keep going and find different ways of tweaking what you eat to make it work for you.

You CAN do it!!

    1. I am pretty sure that Nature's Hollow makes a BBQ sauce - http://natureshollow.com/
      their products do have xylitol so you have to count the carbs with the sugar alchols together. But SOOO GOOD
      I love their products.

    2. I just go BBQ sauce from Nature's Hollow. Haven't tasted it yet. Also go ketchup, honey and maple syrup.

  5. I've really been enjoying reading your blog posts. I started on Jorge's Stubborn Fat Gone program March 3rd. I find it VERY easy to follow, and no cravings...and am not hungry at all!!

    I'm down 11 lbs., 2-1/2" on waist, 1/2" on hips and 1" on upper thighs. WoooHooo!

  7. Thanks for the pep talk! Was in Barnes & Noble today and picked up The 100 by Jorge. Only count sugar calories. Had to put it down b/c I was getting confused, but then came home and read more about it online. Not sure if I want to do that or stay on the original BFC. Any suggestions or has anyone else tried this method?

    1. I prefer the original BFC. That is what I started with and how I lost all my weight. However - I have found many better things to eat than are in his book along my journey which I always share on here. I hope that helps.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
