So yesterday was Sunday - RIGHT? I don't even know what day it is anymore. Remember the friends that I took around looking for a lease on a house? Well they moved in yesterday and Hubby offered to help them move and in return he will help us move in a week or so.
\
So I dropped off Hubby at 8am where the truck rental was to help them and I had a load of stuff in the car and went to the new house to empty the car. Then I straightened up a bit and vacuumed, then went back home to get more stuff. Went back to the new house and emptied the car - I did this 4 times while hubby was helping with the move.
My breakfast was a left over pork chop hubby brought home from the FD, eggs, avocado and 1 slice of toast with my coconut butter.
Lunch in-between the back and forth was shirataki noodles, some sugar free pasta sauce, turkey meatballs and Parmesan cheese.
Snack was some blackberries and walnuts.
Later on while Hubby was taking a much needed nap I made a loaf of Zucchini and Cheese Coconut Flour Bread.

Here it is all sliced up and ready for the fridge. It tastes great with Natures Hollow preserves on top.
I also made a batch of homemade butter. Looks like ice cream - huh?
Today I really need to make some more nut butter - Almond or Hazelnut - can't decide yet.
So yesterday Hubby and I were talking after he got home from the move and I told him I realized why we both hate it here so much. It is a gated community but It is just like living in an apartment. The house is tiny and close together, you hear everything, there are always kids playing in front of my house SCREAMING until way after 10pm, and there is tons of cars always parked all over the streets. I am complaining - aren't I? Sorry, but its almost over.
Well Hubby can't find a new transmission yet and he is working days all this week - so I have no car and can't go to the new house to do anything. Guess I will pack or something.
Have a great day everyone and thanks for listening.
This is PurpleRosy signing off...
Keep on BFC ' n :-)

You are getting so close to getting the heck out of there! If you use the time to pack, you'll be ready to go:)
ReplyDeleteGreat job on staying so focused, I am almost ready!!! Thanks for always being here, to spur us on:)
I'm glad it's almost over for you. You will be so happy in your new home. I never did get around to blogging. I will try today. I stayed at the shore all week and got a lot done down there. Still have to stay off the knee but managed to clean out closets and drawers. I left to come home this morning and my 1 1/2 hour trip took 3 1/2 hours. So much rain, accidents and traffic. Plus for some reason I have been waking up at 2 the last few mornings and can't get back to sleep. Sound familiar? Lol! Why do women our age have so many sleep problems!! Off to take a much needed nap now after my drive home! Take care and don't work too hard!! XO!
ReplyDeleteGood job staying focused on BFC, even when you are dead tired! I feel ya on your comment of living too close to the neighbors and hearing everything! That's what beach living is like and it's getting old. I've never had issues until my next door neighbors moved in. Now their kid talks loud, has parties, keeps the lights on (which shine very brightly in my bedroom) and smokes on the patio (which is my biggest pet peeve and it comes right into my bedroom sliding door!) I can't wait for the kid to move out, whenever that is!!!! Anyhow, good luck on the move :)

So I was thinking about your post from yesterday about the BFC and wondering if there were many of us left. I am still doing it for the most part but I don't follow the rules as the original BFC states. I don't eat nearly as many carbs and I still count my sugars, but I've gone gluten-free to help a female health issue I've had for a few years and it has made a huge difference! So sad though because I loved some of the bread items I used to eat. =( I also stopped weighing because it completely depressed me when I didn't see the scale moving down, but I will never go back to eating sugar again, or high carb foods, this is a lifestyle change for me (and also my husband) that we will continue on for the rest of our lives. The health issues that come with a high carb/high sugar lifestyle are scary! I was headed down that slippery sloap myself! We feel so much better too! Really it's so easy now. Your blog is what has gotten me through, that's for sure, and also all the other blogs that are posted here! I've even gotten my sister and her husband started on the BFC! They are really excited about it. So that is where I am on this BFC journey.....and as always thank you Rosalie!
ReplyDeleteIt's almost over!!! Really! keep pushing thru!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, you will be in your new beautiful home very soon! So glad you found time to bake some BFC goodies in between all of your hard work! I'm going to make some protein bites again, they are so delicious! Thanks for always blogging, encouraging and keepin it real!
