Weight is up today :-(

Hello Friends,

Well I just have to admit that all this house crap is taking its toll on me now I think. I can't sleep even though last night I took something to help. I feel tired and my weight is way up - for me anyways. I don't know if I should even tell you cause I feel so bad. But I promised to always be honest about everything so OK, this morning I weighed in at 155. WTF!!! is all I can say.

Whatever I'm not gonna let that get me too depressed.  It does bother me though, but life goes on - right? Today is Thursday - right? I don't even know what day it is. For the Umteenth time they say it will fund this morning. If that's the case then it should record and close today too or tomorrow.

Hubby has been working nights and the past couple mornings he comes home at 7am and tries to sleep and just can't - waiting to hear about the house. It's 8:45 right now and he just came out of the room and said " I can't keep pretending like I'm sleeping any more". I feel bad for him cause he has to go in at 12 today and won't get home until 7am tomorrow morning again. The waiting is killing us.....

My meals yesterday;
Breakfast was toast and turkey bacon and berries.
 Lunch was cut up cucumber, tomato, avocado, bacon bits, mayo, tuna and feta cheese.
 I was trying to be nice for Hubby and made him some juice in our juicer.
 My Mandy was so cute and is always such a great listener when I talk to her.
 Me and the furry girls went for a walk and my dinner was some broccoli, brussel sprouts and wings.

After I ate 2 of my OMG cookies for desert.

I felt like maybe I'm not getting enough fiber and could be why my weight is up so I made a muffin this morning for breakfast.
1tb of each; coconut oil, chia seeds, coconut flour, almond flour, flaxseed, 1 egg, cinnamon, stevia, vanilla, and some u.s.v.a.l., a few walnuts and blueberries.  I ate it with some homemade butter and coconut butter.
I'm gonna try this for a few mornings and see if this helps.

The weather is cooler this morning. I'm so upset over all the tornado stuff on the news today. My heart goes out to all of them.

  1. I know for a fact that you absolutely know the right way to eat for your body so it's not that.... I'll just bet you it's the lack of sleep (and stress) like you said. If I don't get atleast a good 7 hours of sleep, my weight either goes up or goes nowhere. Hang in there - the perfect house really is out there and waiting for you! Hopefully this will all be over soon and you'll be in your Home Sweet Home!

    I know all the stress of waiting and waiting and waiting is taking a toll on you. I am continuing to pray. I know all great things are worth the wait. We will all be celebrating with you soon. I just know it! :D

  3. Rosalie, hang in there and don't be upset about the weight. You are doing all the right stuff. I know it's all the stress from all of this. I guess I don't really understand the process of a short sale, but I don't understand what is the hold up on their end. You need to give me a lesson on this. Anyway, I hope everything turns out the way you want. XO!!!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
