Happy Birthday Daughter...

Good Morning,

Yesterday was kind of a tense day for both of us just waiting - waiting, its driving us nuts. I seriously had a headache most of the day. Hubby was at work and wound up actually staying from 6am to midnight then went by his moms to sleep for a few hours. She lives 5 min from his work where as we live 45min-1hr away. Hes back at work again at 6 this am. So I was alone with my waiting and my tension headache and he is super tired I'm sure.

Problems keep popping up that makes us worried (that I won't discuss-might jinx it). It must close-fund-and record by Friday or the whole deal is OFF. Today is my daughter's (in Michigan) 35th birthday.  WOW did I say that? I sound so OLD. I actually have children that age!!

I ran out of bread before that's why I was eating a muffin for breakfasts, but got some more from Sprouts on Monday - YEAH!
Breakfast yesterday morning;
 Alpine valley 12 grain toast with coconut butter on top (love this), eggs with sauted baby spinach and cheese and berries.

For lunch I used 2 cauliflower tortillas as a bun, a turkey pattie, a slice of pepper jack cheese, hummus and some spinach inside. So good...

The problem with this was I wanted 1 of my OMG cookies after and took all my strength to not eat them. I felt like I was going thru withdrawals. Just held my tummy and kept saying NO - But I did it- nothing after that lunch. Yeah me.

Me and the furry girls went for a walk. Came back and ate a spinach salad and buffallo wings for my dinner. OK so then I ate 2 OMG cookies and some rediwhip for desert. Couldn't wait any more LOL.

Sorry - I sound like a stupid broken record talking about this house crap all the time. We have been waiting for 5 and 1/2 months for this house. Couldn't really sleep that well - wondering. But today is OUR day!! I hope. What a nice Mother's day present that would be.

  3. Bless your heart! We gotchoo covered my friend!!! I am glad I look at your blog on the computer (when I am able to) instead of my stinking little phone. It helps to see photos. I totallyyyyy forget about the microwave muffins. Totally...forget. So...I guess back to the recipe book and to write these things down.

    We are two days back to zero snacks for the first 7 days...and guess who announces to me that he is down 8#s in two day?!?!? sigh....me....2#s. Sigh.

    I am holding my breath too about your closing...you need to keep us updated...cause...I might pass out before you!!! I'm just sayen'!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
