Berry Cheesecake Desert

Berry Cheesecake Desert
First of all I have to say that this is the BOMB-DIGIDY!!

I saw this on Facebook from Sandy of: https://www.facebook.com/SandysSimpleRecipes?ref=stream

She always posts tons of great ideas and recipes that we can apply to the BFC. She made hers for 2 people but I was afraid I might eat the whole thing so I made it for just 1 serving.

Ingredients and directions:


  • I used about 2 tbs of almond flour with some melted butter or coconut oil for the base, mixed together and put in the bottom of a small bowl. add in a spoon of chia seeds if you want.
  • 2 oz of cream cheese with 1/4 scoop of strawberry protein powder - I just so happened to have strawberry but vanilla would work too, warmed up the cream cheese in the micro for 15 sec, mix with the protein powder and put it on top of the crust,.
  • I took a few fresh berries, smushed them a little and warmed up a little (or cold) and put on top - juice and all 
  • put in the fridge for as long as I could wait - I ate it with rediwhip on top and OMG!!!!!!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
