I am so tired today. I am getting absolutely no sleep, either is Hubby. I do manage to get in my walk with my furry girls every day no matter how I feel though. I don''t really have much to talk about. The weather is still great.
Yesterday for breakfast I had toast with my homemade butter and almond butter, avocado, eggs, and berries.
I cooked and shredded a head of cauliflower the other day and have been eating a cauliflower crust pizza every day since. What I do is put the head in water and bring it to a boil then drain off all the water and let it cool then shred in the food processor. Now its ready for anything.
My lunch yesterday, a cauliflower crust pizza with turkey pepperoni and a spoon of my low sugar pasta sauce.
Dinner was A big handful of spinach, broccoli and chicken with alfredo sauce and microwaved so the spinach wilted. It was good. For desert I actually ate a few bites of clemmys toasted almond and 2 protein bites. I know - too much but like I said I am tired...Breakfast this morning for me and hubby was eggs with sauted mushrooms, onion, and green pepper, spinach, turkey sausage crumbles and a bit of cheese - and toast with my homemade butter and almond butter.
Hubby and I went to the movies in the early afternoon. It might be the last time for a while if the house actually closes soon. We saw Trance it was a bit confusing but good. I ate a small popcorn and 2 of my cookies I made the other day. No lunch.
When we got home we were both Pooped. I sat down for a little while and then took the girls for a walk in the fresh air, it helped.
My dinner was another cauliflower crust pizza with alfredo sauce, a tiny bit of shredded parmesan cheese, chicken cut up and jalapenos.
Right now I am getting to watch one of my Favorite shows -- Dr. WHO. I just love BBC America. I also only have the last 2 episodes of Downton Abby to watch. Almost done. I am prepared for the tears from what everyone said about the last episode. Actually almost each episode makes me cry.
Well thanks for listening and have a nice weekend everybody.
This is PurpleRosy signing off...

Dh And I Have Been Strict On The BFC Six Days Now. Am Down 7 Of The 10 I Gained Back. I've Decided I Love The Cauliflower Like Mashed Tatoes ...I Steam The Head Then Use The Stick Blender With Butter, Almond Milk, Cheese, Salt & PEpper. I Plan To Make Those Cookies Tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteWhy Are You Both Not Sleeping????
Just stress from the house stuff I guess. Almost over. They got and extension till the end of April.
DeleteWoot!!! Fingers and toes crossed! I have watched all of Season 1 and Season 3, I bought Season 2 to watch on my Kindle on the plane. I cry often in that show too! LOVE it! Did you see GI Joe? I cried at the end of that!
ReplyDeleteI truly don't get the cauliflower stuff, when my mom used to cook it, the whole house wreaked? How could it taste like a potato????
Maybe I need to start doing some of the things that you do to get back down. A gal on facebook talked about chia seeds, I've never done that either.
I hope you sleep soon!
I love the cauliflower recipes! I think I like the cauli mash the best - it's a great side for anything you'd put over pasta or rice. MMM
ReplyDeleteI've tried cauliflower as a potato stand in, too, and just can't get into it like so many others do. I don't expect it to taste like potatoes. But it'd be nice if it tasted good, ha ha. I just picked up a bag of frozen cauliflower (after pricing a head of fresh I about swallowed my tongue) yesterday that I plan to "rice" and have on hand for a couple of days, maybe try a fried rice of sorts.
ReplyDeleteWe are just about done watching season 2 of Downton Abbey, borrowed from library. My husband is much more into it than I, weirdly enough.
I can't wait to hear your thoughts about the season finaly of Downton Abbey. Such a good series. My favorite way to eat cauliflower is the "cauliflower rice." I love it mashed too. I'm not too good at the pizza making. I have to give it another try. Hope you get some sleep soon!! XO
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear your not sleeping well. Nothing like the stress of looking for & buying a home. Hope it gets better soon. Glad to hear your keeping your walks up and eating well (like you always do). I am excited to begin watching the Downtown Abbey series as well - so many of you like it. Have a great day and (fingers-crossed) a restful night my friend!
ReplyDeleteYou have a new look to your blog page! It looks good! I thought I was in the wrong place at first! LOL! I love using cauliflower! We make faux'tatoes with them! I use cream cheese and a handful of cheese in mine...so good! My family is crazy about them too! I haven't tried making the pizza crust with it, I'll have to give that one a try. I hope you can get some sleep soon, I know that can be miserable! Take care and as always so grateful for your blog! ~ Francie
ReplyDeleteI like the new blog look. Sending happy thoughts about the house!
