I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. Hubby actually worked day shift that day. His sister was visiting at his moms house in Pasadena with er 2 girls. They live up in northern California and usually come down for holidays.
Well I just went to upload a picture and was told by google that I am at my limit. I have been blogging for over 2 and 1/2 years now. It said I have to subscribe now for $2.49 a month to be able to load any mor pictures - so I did it. Whatever...
This was my breakfast on Thanksgiving morning. I made some pancakes with 2 eggs, 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder, 1 big spoon of cottage cheese and a little rolled oats that was left - cinnamon and stevia.
I went to MIL's to visit with the girls from about 11:30 to almost 3. I brought some of the pumpkin bread pudding muffins and cream cheese muffins and me and the girls ate some at lunch time.
Then I went to Maria and Lisas for Thanksgiving dinner. I ate some turkey, roast beef, a little stuffing and yam and broccoli. I brought a bottle of wine and had a bit of that too. After dinner they were all having some pumpkin pie and gave me a small sliver, but I could only eat a few bites. It tasted way too sweet for me.
I brought home a big plate for hubby which he ate when he got home.
My breakfast yesterday (Friday) was some left over turkey scrambled in eggs with some baby spinach and cheese and a smart and delicious wheat tortilla.
Hubby and I left to go and look at the house in Upland again that we looked at a few times last week. Its the one that was in a great quiet area but the house is about 25 years old and needed the kitchen and both bathrooms gutted and completely replaced. You have to use your imagination - the house has great potential.
We went back to his moms house to visit the girls again and this was my lunch while was there. Tuna salad with eggs, mayo, tomato and cucumber cut up in some lettuce leafs.
We left to got to the Santa Anita mall and went to see the movie; The guardians. The girls picked it but hubby was not happy having to sit thru a cartoon movie. LOL
I ate popcorn. After Hubby and I went to the South Coast Plaza to the Microsoft store to look at this laptop that he said was only $399 - a super deal, but when we got all the way over there - of course they we sold out. DO ya think he should have called first????
They had this GIGANTIC gorgeous tree and ceiling in the center of the mall. |
We walked around a bit in the most expensive mall in the world - LOL, then we left. For some reason my tremors were getting real bad in that crowd. On the was home we found a Jack-in -the-Box and I ate 2 chicken strips and the best junk-crap I ever HAD!! 2 stuffed Jalapeno poppers. All I can say is SPICY-Yumminess....
This was my breakfast this morning, 2 eggs, and a left over pc of a yam with some berries. Of course my weight is up a little from all the food I have been eating that I normally don't eat. And not walking EVERY day - I missed a couple.
We have a Birthday party to go to later today, can't wait to see our old neighbors again. It will be fun.
I hope you all have a great weekend. How was your Thanksgiving??
This is PurpleRosy signing off...

Overall, you did very well with your eating on Thanksgiving. Good girl ;) There was no way that I was heading to South Coast Plaza anytime this weekend. I've finally figured out that Black Friday deals aren't worth the crowds. My hubby and daughter did go to walmart on Turkey Day and got a great deal on a 32" tv, but I stayed home and slept.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Sunday!

Happy Thanksgiving a few days late Rosalie. It's been alittle crazy in my house, with all the kids home. I'm looking forward to getting back to my routine tomorrow. Just wanted to say hi and I am thinking about you over the holiday weekend. It was a tough one for us and I'm sure you had some tough moments too. But we got through it and there are many things to be thankful for, even though we are both missing our loved ones. Hugs and love! XO
