Well the Election is finally over and I am so glad. Although I appreciate the fact that we live in America and can say and do what every we want, I hate seeing all the negative posts from so many people about who ever they didn't like. So like someone posted, now that all that Election crap is over we can go with just getting annoyed with their personalities. LOL
After our Breakfast yesterday we went out to run a few errands. Voted First of course. Hubby wanted to meet someone to buy a used cell phone, then we went to look at a couple houses.
After a while we wound up at my favorite lunch place, Chipotle. I had a salad with black beans, carnitas, little bit of sour cream and cheese, guacamole and of course HOT SALSA.
We went to Sprouts to get a few healthy things. They were out of my Oasis low-carb sprouted flaxseed bread! What? How dare they? So I decided to get this one instead.
As you can see it has only 6 carbs, 1 sugar and 10 protein per slice - but only 1 fiber. Guess I will have to get some fiber from other stuff.
We stopped at Sams Club then back home.
I decided to take the girls for a walk. There are a lot of dogs in here where we live. Two doors down there are 2 white furry dogs that are always out in their yard and bark furiously every time they even hear us coming to walk by.
So The RAT always starts barking - then she makes Mandy barking - never my precious Peaches. She is such a good girl. Mandy is always reacting to the R.S.
Than we go out he gate to take our walk and there is a lady walking by with a cute puppy. R.S. starts it again - then Mandy and all 3 of them are pulling. I GOT SO PISSED!!! I am so tired of being embarrassed by this behavior and it always starts with Olive. I look like the Crazy DOG LADY!! I always try to go a way that we might not see other dogs. I marched them right back in the gate and back home FUMING!! Threw Olive and Mandy back in the door and said "That's it I can't take this shit from them anymore - they are not going!"
I took Peaches and we went for our walk. She has never been by herself before and kept crying and looking around and puling back towards home. It was cute.
Well anyways when I got back home I needed to Wine down for sure and pulled a bottle out.
Hubby and I both had 2 small glasses. And FYI - this is why I say not to drink wine all the time because this morning my weight was up by like 1.5 lbs because of the wine. It always is....EVERY TIME I drink it. So don't drink 2 glasses of it every night like Jorge says is OK - Don't because it is fattening no matter how you look at it.
And for dinner I had a spinach salad and some chicken while watching TV - waiting for election results.
Hubby was home last night and I thought I would get better sleep. I still tossed but got a little. We woke up this morning and he says "I felt someone shaking me in bed". I was like WHAT!! Really? I don't know if he was just trying to make me feel better or what?
My breakfast this morning which I always seem to share with the girls. Only the healthy stuff that is. Some of that new bread with my homemade Pumpkin-Almond butter, turkey bacon, avocado, eggs and berries.
The weather today is supposed to be around 78 - perfect. I hope you all have a great day no matter what you are doing. Try to make the best of it.
This is PurpleRosy signing off...
Keep on BFC ' n :-)

Peaches is just so adorable! I would give her a hug too.
ReplyDeleteOUR DOG BARKS AT OTHER DOGS AS WELL....SO WE PUT SOME ROCKS IN A SODA CAN AND SHAKE IT WHEN SHE STARTS, AND AFTER A COUPLE OF WEEKS IT'S REALLY WORKING! i LOVE YOUR BLOG BY THE WAY, HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A WAY TO EAT THAT WORKS FOR MM, AND I THINK THE BFC WILL BE PERFECT!!GOING TO BY HIS BOOK TODAY. PRETTY EXCITED ABOUT IT. tHANKS FOR BEING HERE. ~ KATY
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem with my dog Steve. He barks at other dogs and then Roscoe starts barking. Now we take Steve around the block once with Roscoe, and then come home, drop Steve off, and Roscoe gets to go for a longer walk alone. I don't want him to get the bad habits. It works that way. XO
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it's all over too. Have a good day!
ReplyDeleteYou need a dog whisperer that tells RS that if he keeps barking he won't get to go on walks anymore:) It's better to be a healthy crazy dog lady than sit on your behind like I am doing!
ReplyDeleteWe have a Chipotle here now, but I haven't tried it yet.
I am glad the election is over, but not glad the stock market is tanking, or surprised:(
Have a great day and thank you for all of your cheerful thoughts!
Awww, Peaches. My new puppy turned out to be a barker - bummer! Two of my boys were old enough to vote for the first time this election! We also stayed up and watched it on TV. Had to watch the speechs on my computer this morning though 'cause I couldn't make it up that late. I LOVE Chipotle's salads!
ReplyDeleteok here goes i hope someone can see this..anyone on a plateau or ever have one? if so what did u do? ive been fighting with one for a few weeks with no success..i really dont want to give up jorge as ive lost ten lbs with him. thnx carole
ReplyDeleteDon't give up. Trust that if you are making heathy choices the weight will come off. I've lost 50+ and have hit 2 plateaus along the way. Getting out if the 220's too awhile and now again at the low 200's. Can't seem to get to onderland! I think these are just part of the process for some of us. If you recommit and eliminate all snacks that will probably work. I think I lose motivation and start unknowingly eat for maintenance and not weight loss. Weight loss for me kind of hurts I have to feel hungry at the end of the day for scale to move. Above all don't quit or change plans this really does work! Commitment is all it takes.
