Hello Friends,
Well I want to start with what happened the other night. Sunday night after my last post, Hubby and I were in the Living room arguing about something stupid. I don't even remember actually why but when you are with someone for 22 years that can happen from time to time and that's OK. You can't always agree on everything - right?
So I put on the kettle for a cup of decaf tea, it was around 8pm. I got up cause it was whistling and got over there and the Fan in the Microwave was going all by itself. Not the one under it, the one INSIDE it when it is usually going - but it was not spinning and the inside light was not on.
I started opening and closing it - pushing buttons - turned on the fan button, which DID go on and was not the fan noise I was hearing. I was like - WTF?? I call Hubby to come over here (which he ignored) and then it went off by itself .
So I guess the Invisibles did not like us arguing and hubby did not even see or hear it AGAIN!!
My breakfast yesterday was some of my sweets again - well I have to use it up don't I?
My lunch was a smart and delicious wheat tortilla with cheese, a few spoons of black beans and some turkey pepperonis that cooked in the microwave ahead of time - and of course some salsa.
I had a dentist appointment at 3pm for a cleaning so after I went to Sam's club, Walmart then Sprouts and then home. I got home very late almost 7pm and too dark to walk. So I put everything away and made us some wings and a spinach salad for dinner.
Last night Hubby was so tired we went to bed early and I watched TV while he snored. LOL
I kept hearing a noise in the front rooms - muted the TV and sat up - it stopped. Heard it again - muted the TV - stopped. Heard it again so I muted the TV and got up, all the dogs had been in their beds so it was not them. Peaches was out of her bed and sleeping at the bedroom doorway - dink of guarding it. I said Peaches what is that noise? and turned on the light and we looked around - NOTHING!
GEEZE - This house is so haunted and creepy - I don't even know what to say.
Look at how comfy Mandy is on Hubby's pillow. I let them jump on the bed only in the morning for about an hour while I am watching the news and getting dressed.
Someone asked so I thought I would post a picture of the kinds of cottage cheese and cream cheese I usually buy.
My breakfast this morning - Still eating my sweets. he-he.
I found a recipe for some Pumpkin Bread Pudding online that I am gonna try maybe today or tomorrow and will post after I make it. Instead of making it in one pan I am gonna make it into muffins to make it easier for individual servings. I figured it out to be 12 carbs - 3 fiber - 2 sugars for 12 individual muffins. I will post later.
BTW I saw the new calorie diet that Jorge posted and that everyone is talking about. My opinion is its too confusing and stupid. For him to make people think they can eat regular ice cream and 2 glasses of wine every day and still lose 11 lbs a week is CRAZY!! Just stick with the original BFC - if it ain't Broke - Stop trying to fix it!!
Well have a nice day and thanks for listening like usual.
This is PurpleRosy signing off...
Keep on BFC ' n :-)

Some tips if you are having trouble
- First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
- Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
- Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
- Make sure you drink lots of water.
- Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
- Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
- Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
- Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
I hope this helps.

The girls look SO comfy when they lay on the bed. Cracks me up.
ReplyDeleteI'm always up for gratuitous cute doggie pics!
That new diet sounds CRAZY.
I think new places just have a bunch of noises that come with them. I had the same issue when we moved a few years ago and I swore there was a ghost in our bedroom who with shake me awake at night. Now I decided it was leg cramps and the shadows are car lights... from where I don't know :)
ReplyDeleteRegular ice cream?? Really? I never go there anymore so am not up on the latest. Sounds interesting though may have to check it out (just because).
