Beautiful Weather over here...

Hello Friends,

It started getting a little warm again over here so I went for a walk in the morning on Sunday with the 3 furry girls. Such a nice day I took a picture for you.
 I made a big Cauliflower crust pizza for lunch. I ate some, Mayra ate some and I still have a little left in the Fridge for tomorrow.
Dinner was spinach salad and some wings for all 3 of us.
My day today started out with a good breakfast With Mayra, then she went home.
My 3 flour pancakes and some berries. Got some of these left for the morning too..
 Hubby and I went out to run a few errands and got hungry and stopped at Boston's Market. I had the bowl on the right. Broccoli, green beans, creamed spinach and turkey. It was so good.
Then we went to visit a friend that broke his leg. Then at 4:10 we went to see the Movie ARGO by Ben Aflec. It was a true story and BTW - awesome and nail biting. We both loved it. I had popcorn and then when we got home a little before 7pm I took the 3 furry girls for a walk. They were so excited I had them running half the time.

No dinner for me tonight but, My evening treat was 2 protein bites and some RediWhip in a bowl.

Well Hubby has to work nights for the next 4 nights in a row. So you know what that means? No fighting over what to watch on TV. LOL

OK - one more thing before I go tonight; So before we left to go to lunch and run the errands, I went in the bathroom to Veet my legs and under arms before we go. It's like Nair. I like to do this way better than shaving cause when the hair grows back it is much softer.  so I put the stuff on and am standing there by myself with my arms up in the air.

Got a visual. LOL

I had to take of my bra cause I got some stuff on it and I wanted to wash it off. All of a sudden I hear a loud snap of fingers....There was no one there. This is the 3rd time in the 2 months that I have lived here that paranormal stuff keeps happening.

I was like - DUDE!! Not cool!! I just took off my bra!! I called over Hubby and told him what happened, he was in the living room. The he tries to cover me and says that's not for you.. HA-ha.

The first time I got smacked on the Butt, The second time I got woken up by someone smacking my knee, now some one snaps their fingers. So what the heck is going on lately?? The ghosts love me or what?? I hear them and feel them. My house is haunted. Don't worry - they don't scare me.

  1. How rude! lol...time to tell them to keep out..privacy please :-) Thanks for the chat this morning...I am got some whole tortillas 10carb/7fibre/0sugars and a bag of spinach..going to make egg/spinach/cheese breakfast wraps! Hopefully next Monday I can report a weight change for the good :-)

  4. I finally made a cup of the chocolate chai tea...i was so hopeful. But sadly i won't finish it. Do you find seasons that you struggle with food ideas/recipes/options? If it were only me on this diet...i could do ok. Or at least i think so. But since i am cooking for a 6"7 exjock who is dropping an average of 1/2# a day. I get very discouraged. And turning 50 am finding a struggle...maybe it's hormones

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
