What a Day...

Hello Friends,

Yesterday we saw Ted at the movies. It was very funny and very ADULT! Not for children that's why it was rated R. But some stupid parents still brought their children in there - STUPID. If you are kind of Churchy you might not like it. They sat around getting high together, sex, Very Bad Language!! And I bet half the audience didn't get who Flash Gordon was. (too young) LOL - 2 thumbs up - we liked it.

Wow what a day I had today. Hubby is working days M-Th this week so I made the best of my day today.
My breakfast this morning was 2 oasis toast w/butter and peanut butter, 2 eggs and turkey bacon.

After I finished my 2nd cup of coffee I went outside to the front yard and pulled weeds, weed-eated, cut, blew, and hosed. For some reason it took me longer then usual, 2 hours.

I came in the house dripping with sweat and took off my shorts and tried to cool off. Made myself a smothie for lunch of: MRM whey protein powder, 1 tb of coconut oil, 1 tb of peanut butter, psyllium husks, 1 tb of cocoa powder, a hand full of berries, ice, water and a little unsweetened almond milk. That was just what I needed to cool off and I was too tired to fix any food.

Went out to the back yard and did half the weed pulling I still have the other half I will do tomorrow, weed-eated, mowed, blew, and hosed stuff down. Looks much better now. Another 2 hours - whew!

I hosed myself down a bit outside to try to cool off - its warm and sunny over here.

For my snack I had 2 chocolate-almond-protein bites and water, water, water.

I had to go to our PO box for the business, 2 banks, then to get gas, then Sams Club, Wal-mart next door, then Sprouts and got home by 6:30 and had to put everything away.

Dinner was a spinach salad and some wings - I was TOOOO TIRED to think about anything to cook or fix - so my good ole stand by is the winner.

  1. Girlfriend...where do you find the energy??????? I get tired just reading your activities! ok...so...TED...I didn't get Flash Gordon. I wanted to strangle the families that brought kids. Seriously. Today I went to buy berries before it was too late...and welp...I missed out on Strawberries, so I bought frozen berries. I'm waiting for blueberries yaaaaaa.

  2. I told my brother that I wanted to see Ted and he said it was very Adult. I still want to see it- will need to get a babysitter one night...and secretly I want to see Magic Mike, shh!!! :)

    Where do you go to the movies, Dos Lagos? or Crossings at Corona? or is that too far??

    1. I really want to see magic mike too but am gonna have to sneak and see it by myself sometime. I like to o to the Harkins theater in Chino Hills its by the 71 frwy and chino ave. They truly have the best popcorn.

  3. I went to see Magic Mike today...mmmm eye candy! fun and usual plot. Loved seeing the wolfman from True Blood...he's pruddy! Mike can dance too! sorry nobody has heard from me in a while a being feeling down...but Magic Mike got me giggling ;-)

  6. Rosalie, try throwing in a handful of spinach into your protein shake. I swear you can't taste it and you get the bonus veggie intake. I never have time for movies ... I always have to wait for the DVD ;)

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
