This Message is for YOU...

Good Morning Folks,

I woke up to rain hitting the roof this morning. And now its only 9am and the sun is shining already. Yeah - I love living in southern California.

Yesterday I had to make sure all the paperwork got over for the new "H". It all happened so fast. (I really want to tell you what happened - but I have been ordered not to say yet). That's why we are selling all that furniture. And yes some of it is the new stuff - but won't fit, so alas - I have no choice.

Yes I already put it on Craigslist but everyone wants something for nothing. I post how much it cost me originally and what I am asking and they still go WAYYYYYYYY lower. I am reasonable and might go lower - but come on - I'm not gonna give it away to someone I don't even know. I would for a good friend or family.  We will see I have until the end of May. Wish me luck.

Here's what I ate yesterday;
breakfast;
2 flaxseed-almond flour-coconut pancakes w/seeds of change on top, 1 egg and 2 turkey bacon and blackberries.
a cauliflower crust pizza I made the crust spicy w/ bacon bits in the crust - put pesto sauce, then cheese, then baby spinach then a left over piece of chicken cut up and feta cheese. YUM

snack; was some clemmy's (I told you I have a sweet tooth)
Here is a picture of the chicken I made; I cut the breast into 4 pieces cause it was so big, mixed some greek yogurt w/parmesan cheese, spread it on top, then sprinkled some italian seasoning on top and baked at 350 until it looked awesome. It was good!

dinner last night was a spinach salad and wings and some rediwhip and 2 squares of 86% dark chocolate for desert.

Just remember: no matter what is going on in your life, what ever kind of pressure or tension you have going on - that is no excuse to eat yourself fat again!!! Be Strong and Eat Well!!

Thanks for listening and lots of love to you all.

  3. Hope the "H" situation works out just the way you want it. I love details, so post when you can. Thanks for always staying strong and motivating for all of us. I think of you often when I feel like giving up. I'm sorry I haven't been the best blogger friend lately. My brother and the kids are taking up alot of my free time. But it's what I need to do do help them. Things are still so sad and this is birthday month for the kids and mothers day is coming up. Some sad times ahead. I am really trying to stay true to the BFC. Really trying to fast track it this week to jump start me again. Sending love and hugs to you Rosalie. XO

  4. Best wishes on all your happenings...it's hard selling our belongings when some people want something for nothing. I did one garage sale and vowed never again!
    Just FYI: I made the flaxseed pancakes, but used your recipe w/ added almond flour. They're so much better that way. Thanks

  7. Good luck. I am struggling with my weight again, but I swear I'm not trying to eat my way back to fat. Starting to wonder if I need to go get a physical. Anyhow, it's depressing me to see my goal weight on the sidebar, please could you take it off? Thanks so much.

  9. You're right about people wanting something for nothing. One time at the end of a local yard sale we just wanted to not have to bring the stuff home so we put a "free" sign on an big office chair we had. Do you know that people were still coming up to it and complaining that it looked too used? Did they want me to pay them to take it? Crazy!

  11. Good advice, I don't want to eat myself to a place that I hate again. My weight is no one else's responsibility but mine. I hope your things move quickly on craigslist, we are also tryining to sell our truck on craigslist hopefully someone will take it soon it's such a hassle to have it on the market.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
