Busy Day Ahead...

Hello All,

I just wanted to try and make it a quick post - cause I have lots of stuff to do today.

my breakfast yesterday
my lunch; a whole grain tortilla w/cheese and some tun made w/mayo, feta cheese, bacon bits and onion crunch and some green olives w/jalapenos inside.
We left to go to Audrey's (Hubby's cousin on his dad's side) 70th birthday party at Buca Di Beppo in Santa Monica.
These are the Down town LA buildings. It is hard to take pictures going 65 MPH.

I thought this mural was funny in the restaurant.
This is the Birthday girl with the black and white on.

It was a big group with about 30 people and it was very noisy and fun.

I drank a glass of Cabernet Savingnon, about 2 bites of Hubbys bread, 1 bite of a thin crust pizza appetizer, small amt. of antipasto salad, pc of salmon w/ some kind of creamy dill sauce and some broccoli.

I felt like I was eating a ton of sugar - but I don't think I was. It was all so good and we had a good time.

My breakfast this morning; As you can tell I ran out of Oasis bread and have been making those low carb buns. I really like them. Its easy and while its in the oven for 10 min you can finish the rest of your breakfast.

You put it on parchment paper - well - thats what the recipe said. It makes it easier to brown on the bottom and easy to clean up. Just throw out the paper.

Well anyway Hubby got called into work so I have stuff to do, balance the checkbook and pay bills, do the front and back lawn, try to get a walk in with the dogs, and we found some boxes in back of WalMart yesterday  so start packing (books, and nic-nacs).

Busy day ahead - so one more coffee for me and then to it.

Thanks for listening, and lots of love to you all.

This is PurpleRosy signing off...

Have a great rest of the weekend :-)

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  2. When are you moving? If you have to buy boxes, I highly recommend Lowes moving boxes over Home Depot ones. We moved last time with Home Depot ones and they broke!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
