I feel that I have to share...

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday as I was making that last post, my Hubby was saying that I shouldn't say that stuff. I might step on someone's toes. Or something like that. I told him "I'm gonna say what ever I want". I was a bit angry. Not at him, at everyone that was just so willing to follow someone without even checking for themselves first.

Yeah I get very passionate and a bit angry sometimes. I say what is on my mind. I say it like it is. I don't sugar coat things. If I see that someone is eating something they shouldn't on the BFC, I usually say so.

Usually I am just talking in general and not directly at a specific person, so don't take offense. But if you do - If I go over the line.....Please step up and let me know. I will not get mad or hurt. We all need a kick in the rear sometimes.

I have learned SO MUCH in the past 2 years since starting the BFC - I feel that I have to share and help as many as I can or I will just BURST!!

So - If you are doing the Belly Fat Cure or saying that you are, you need to do it 100% or you are just hurting yourself. So that means no artificial sweeteners of any kind what-so-ever!! No more diet sodas!! No eating more than 5 grams of sugar and 2 servings (or 120 grams) of carbs per meal.

If you go into this lifestyle in the wrong way - it Will NOT WORK!! I know that is kind of harsh - but it's the truth. I will never lie to you and that is the honest truth.

Oh - By the way: Jorge posted this comment under the Ideal sweetener post he put yesterday that I was talking about:
Just finished research and unfortunately this one has sucralose!! SO BELLY BAD.

OK so enough of that - so what can I do for YOU?? How can I help??

Don't forget to visit my friends blogs on the list below - support is the MAIN key to success!!

Here's what I've been eating:
Breakfast Sunday
Breakfast today (Monday), berries, turkey bacon, and 2 almond flour pancakes w/butter  and natures hollow on 1 and peanut butter on the other. Sounds weird - but it was good.
Lunch yesterday, a piece of the cabbage lasagna, and a few Mary's gone crackers and some veggie straws dipped in a bit of sour cream.
Lunch today; I made some soup w/chicken breast cut up, mushrooms and celery cut up, baby bok choy, and shirataki noodles w/a bit of chicken bullion, and 1 lemon-coconut flour muffin

dinner last night;
hubby grilled us each a steak on the BBQ, w/some broccoli and brussel sprouts and some Shiraz wine. It was a divine meal. I know-I know the steak looks huge! But there were bones and a bunch of fat - and Oh yeah I finished it. bad girl!!
I had a snack today of a small handful of almonds and a baby bell light cheese.

Dinner tonight; I better get on that its almost 6 pm. maybe a chicken patty and a spinach salad.

Well that's it - thanks for listening to me today. Really thanks. Big Hugs to all.

This is PurpleRosy signing off...

My thought for the day:

Decide Who You Want to Be

Who Do You Want To Be Positive QuoteRemember first that everything you think, say and do is a reflection of what you’ve decided about yourself; a statement of Who You Are; an act of creation in your deciding who you want to be.

 Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  2. I hope he learns a lesson from this and does his "research" before making a product recommendation. At least he appears to be listening to the complaints. I for one am appreciative of your straightforwardness. You don't tell people what to do but keep the information in regards to BFC straight and unmuttled, but in the same breath support those of us who are not doing BFC but like to incorporate some some of the ideas of BFC into what we are doing

  3. I really appreciate this post. Never afraid to hear the truth so keep on preaching it. I'm so flippin' hooked on my artificial sweeteners, Rosalie. How do I kick them? I so love my diet sodas.....I know that Amber loved loved loved her coke zero, as do I. I think I will have to just train myself to drink water because I don't know what else to drink. I can't stand truvia or stevia. Any suggestions??? I can handle sun crystals but can't find them in the stores anymore :(

    1. I too used to drink diet coke and coke zero at least 1 every day before BFC. You need to just stop cold turkey.
I thought the stevia sweeteners sucked in the beginning too, but just kept forcing myself to use them and then BOOM!! They suddenly didn't taste so bad any more. Truvia is the best to me.
Starting Iced tea and stop the soda. YOu CAN DO IT!!

    2. If you like root beer, try mixing plain soda water with root beer-flavored liquid stevia. The one I use is made by SweetLeaf and doesn't have a bitter aftertaste.

  4. Rosalie, one of the things I love about you is you that you call me out on my bad choices! And then still like me anyway:)(I hope) Ultimately we all have decisions to make, you are there to help us make the best ones. You do an amazing job! With that said, I still do a lot of bad things:)

  6. I love you just the way you are my dear friend Rosalie. I'm alittle out of the loop, so not sure what you are talking about, but I do know that sometimes Jorge gives a mixed message. I remember that time he was eating a soft pretzel and posted it on facebook. We know that is not whole grain, and way over in carbs. Call it out when you see something wrong. We all need that. Love and hugs to you from me!

  7. How attractive is a man who will cook for you! It's my fantasy. My man will clean...that's attractive too.
Say it the way you want-it's your blog. We wouldn't expect anything different from you. But your strong willed 'children' will do what ever they want as well :)
    Take care and thank you-

  8. You cant do any program half hearted and its ok to say wahts on your mind. It is your blog and if somebody doesnt like it, they dont have to follow you. I am a Libra and always must have balance & worry about offending people so I do always try to choose my words wisely when I post. I am one who does offend easily. I think its the Libra in me though.
You know what you are doing on the BFC girl and I think its great to have support through the blogs. Jorges blog certainly isnt supportive from what I remember. I dont follow him anymore. I have my own posse of skinny peeps now! ;)
    Have a great day!

  9. Hey Rosalie! I was wondering if you (or anyone else) could give me/us tips on what kinds of things you ate for your meals, especially lunches and dinners, when you were trying to lose. I am eating things that are BFC ok, but probably not the best choices. I just feel like I need to shake things up a bit or jump start again... thanks so much! LOVE this blog!

  11. Hey you are passionate about the BFC and you have reason too so hey if you stepped on a few toes then that is just the way it is. We can take what you say and go with it or we can choose our own and not lose weight lol.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
