Well I started out my morning with a good breakfast as usual.
Turkey bacon, 2 poached eggs w/cheese, 2 slices of Pumpkin bread w/cream cheese on top. (like the muffins but I made it into a loaf and w/o the chocolate chips)
It came out like this. I have learned that when baking bread like this it is easier to just line the pan with parchment paper. You don't have to grease the pan and it just comes right out.
OK - so this morning the video is out that we did in San Diego last week with Jorge, Amber, Nicole, Anthony, Ali and Karl. It was so much fun and I loved the food he prepared. The chicken was juicy and the brushetta was great. I think I was the only one to actually try the bread cause they were all on the Fast Track.
All of his new recipes are just up my alley. Fast and easy and delicious. It was funny cause when we were filming, then kept telling us to think of great words to describe the food. It was fun. They did cut out a ton and I have no idea where Karl went. Bummer. Oh yeah - Anthony sang.
The camera is very unforgiving. You can really tell I got no sleep at all the night before. And when they first started filming, Jorge wanted us all to toast and My ET's started up. I said to Nicole- Oh no my hands are shaking. I told them about it. So after a few sips of wine I was able to shake it off.
The 3 of us were 10 years apart in age. Nicole-32, Amber-42, Me 52. So you see that no matter what age you are - this works for us all.
Yesterday I had a FT day too. eggs, turkey bacon, avocado, and coconut bread for breakfast.
The other half of my cauliflower crust pizza for lunch.
snack was some pumpkin coconut bread - warm. YUM
dinner was 4 brussel sprouts, broccoli, baby spinach, shredded beef, and alfredo sauce all warmed together in a bowl in the microwave and parmesan cheese on top . sounds weird but it was good.
desert, Rediwhip and 2 squares of 86% chocolate and some tea.
I hope everyone has a great day. Tomorrow is Maria's Birthday so I will be spending the day with her and I will tell about it after.
Thanks for listening. Lots of hugs and love for anyone who needs it. WWRD??
This is PurpleRosy signing off...
My thought for the day:

What a great video! I think you all look great!
ReplyDeleteI thought you looked great! I think it turned out pretty good, given how nervous I personally was. Apparently I laugh a lot when Im nervous hahahahaha :) Maybe he will use the leftover video to show were we talked less abt the food and more about our weight loss?
ReplyDeleteI think you looked great on the video! You seemed confidant and sure of yourself. I am so excited that you got the chance to share your weight loss success!
ReplyDeleteYou look like 'real' people-people we can relate to. Good job!
ReplyDeleteI think all of you look great too! I love that we can watch the video and then get all the behind the scenes scoop from you and Amber. Hope you have fun at the birthday celebration!
ReplyDeleteWow Rosalie, you are famous! LOL! Great video. I really enjoyed being able to see you and the others "in person" like that. Gives those who follow your blogs a chance to get to know you a little better. I do feel very badly though about the way they cut Karl out almost completely. That really wasn't very nice :(
