Not Feelin That Great today...

Hello Friends,

I have been feeling kind of crappy the past 2 days. I have a sore throat. It's weird cause I did not have a cold or anything, i just came out of nowhere. I have been wearing a scarf yesterday and the day before cause I though it would help. No this morning I am hacking up flem.

I don't really even go anywhere to catch anything, so it must have been from Hubby. I told him he brought it home and gave it to me. He said - but I am not even sick. So I said - Well you must have been like Passover with blood on your door. He said - what like a Vampire? I said no its a Jewish joke (cause I am Jewish). I said - I know you watched the Ten commandments movie like 100 times like all of us?? He still didn't know and I had to explain it to him.

I woke up this morning feeling skinny (149.5) and Hungry. I usually don't. I thought I ate enough yesterday. Yesterday I ate:
breakfast; 2 scrambled eggs w/cheese, turkey bacon, 2 slices of the zuchinni-cheese-coconut bread w/butter and natures hollow and some berries.
lunch; a spinach salad w/shredded beef, cheese, sour cream, avocado, jalopenos.
snack; 2 pumpkin muffins that I had left in the fridge.
dinner; broccoli, and a hamburger patty cooked and cut up in shirataki noodles w/seeds of change pasta sauce, hot sauce and parmasean cheese.
after dinner: candy cane lane tea w/3 almond cookies.

This morning I ate: 2 almond flour pancakes, turkey bacon and blackberries.
I feel better now :-)

Even though I feel crappy today I Have to go to Kohls. I have a 30% off coupon and I believe it expires today - Oh Darn! I have to go shopping. Maybe I will go later this afternoon, hopefully I will feel better.

I really appreciate all the comments and support. If it wasn't for our little support group - I don't know where some of us would be. So Invite others so we can help them too.

I remember how bad I felt about myself before I started the Belly Fat Cure. I felt fat and UGLY and just knew that I was doomed to be like that forever.

But look at me now! I gonna be 53 on January 3rd. I feel and look like a whole different person. That is why I am so passionate  to help everyone I can to lose weight and feel what I feel right now. That is why I am strict and yell at you all from time to time. I really am just trying to help.

  1. Hi Rosalie. Love the quote today. You are a rekindler! We all need you to keep us in line, help us stay focused and make the right choices.I hear your voice in my head....you can't have that!!! No white stuff!!! I am sorry you are feeling bad today. Lots of hot tea, also gargle with warm salt water. It's gross, but there is evidence that it does help the inflammed lining of the throat and also may kill some bacteria. Lucky dog with the 30% off coupon. Mine was only 20%!!!! Hugs to you from me!   3. Hi Rosalie! Sorry you aren't feeling well. The salt water gargle really does make the throat feel better......but if all else fails, I learned that Advil stops the throat pain. I just love Advil (Can you tell I used to be the Advil Rep)? Anyhow, I know a lot of people who don't like to take meds, but I say that if you aren't feeling well, you might as well take something to make you feel better. Spoken like a true drug rep...ha! Anyhow, I hope you have a successful trip to Kohl's. I soooo need new clothes, but haven't been able to go shopping. Buy something pretty :)

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
