I'm Not Dieting - I've Changed My Lifestyle

We can do this much easier and better with support from others.

Hello all,

Yesterday was not such a great day for me. I think my hormones are going all out of whack the past week. Well I am on my monthly, so I know that has something to do with it - but what about all the other days? LOL.

Someone in particular is bugging the Sh-t out of me all the time lately. You know there is only 4 of us in my house and its not the 2 cutie pootie furry ones. So I will let you guess which one it is then.

Well yesterday I ate:
breakfast; french toast made w/Oasis bread, unsweetened almond breeze, an egg, and cinnamon, 2 turkey bacon, 8 blackberries, coffee of course w/benefiber, truvia, powdered cream, and cinnamon. And of course all my vitamins, 2 pro-biotics, and 2 the best Resveratrol called Reslina. It's great to help with weight loss. If you want more info on Resveratrol message me on Facebook and I will email it to you.

lunch; a sandwich made w/2 Oasis bread, hummus for flavor, avocado, a salmon patty, and a spinach salad on the side.

snack; a hand full of almonds.

dinner; We went to a retirement party for hubby's cousin at Alcapulco restaurant. I had some meat and lettuce and some cheese and guac on top, and 4 tortilla chips and 2 glasses of cabernet.

I don't know if any of have seen the link for Jorge's new book in your email? I got it this morning and I am in there wayyyyy in the back, but it has the wrong name. I emailed them and told them - so we will see.

It's kind of disappointing lately that there are hardly any comments. I started this blog for myself and to learn how to be accountable for my actions. It has wayyyyyy over succeeded in that way for me. I am very disciplined now and jotting my thoughts on the Belly Fat Cure as I was going thru it was extremely helpful.

I know a while back Google had some kind of problem and 1 day all the comments disappeared. But the next day everything was back to normal for me.

I do this now - to help others in whatever way I can to lose weight and feel as great as I do. I can't help if you don't leave any comments. So please leave your comments and please go and support all my BFC friend's blogs on the list below.

I recently mad a short video on youtube:

Come on people, I would love to see a new face on this blog every week.

That's it for now. Thanks very much for listening. Lots of love to all.

This is PurpleRosy signing off.....

My thought for the day:

Inspire People With Your Attitude

Inspire People Positive QuoteThe best way to inspire people to superior performance is to convince them by everything you do and by your everyday attitude that you are wholeheartedly supporting them.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

P.S. Kaj wanted to know what kind of sweet snacks to leave at work for during the day:

A handful of nuts (walnuts, almonds) and a piece of cheese always helps me. Joseph's sugar free cookies, 2 squares of 85% Lindt dark chocolate, or my favorite RediWhip. Just squirt some in your mouth when you get a sweet attack.

  2. Hi R,
I am glad this commenting is working again. Like I said in my personal email to you I had attempted a few times when I first saw your blog but my comments never appeared so I used the other email to correspond. Let's hope this one shows up.

    Peace,
    E

  4. Rosalie,
I'm a new person! I've actually been reading your blog and several others for about a month now. I tried starting one myself but I'm not disciplined enough to write every week. I started on this diet in April weighing 197 lbs. This week I weighed in at 181 lbs. I just turned fifty in March and have found it extremely difficult to lose weight after menopause. I would like to get down to at least 155lbs. I like this diet because it allows me to still eat things I like and not feel too deprived. What I found very helpful about your posts were the fact that you lost a pound or two a week on average and that is what I find I'm doing also. Some weeks I don't lose anything at all and then the next week I've lost again. It was encouraging to find that was more normal than a huge weight loss every week. I just started taking the Reslina that you talk about and I'm hoping that might make a difference as well. Thank you for posting so often as it is very motivating to me. Hearing about the different products you use was a real time saver for me as well!

    Beth

  11. Rosy don't feel sad when you don't get a comment. We are all out here reading what you say. I am new to BFC, but I'm not losing. I think your menus will help me. I am 58 years young, so maybe that is it. I love your videos and did make your new pizza. It was good but hubby doesn't like pesto, lol.

I would to know what the "Fast Track" says, any hints? do you eat out a lot and if so what do you eat? I have the hardest time eating out with my friends, cuz most times it's just a fast food joint, not a sit down. I am also having a hard time with all the food I bought. I can't have the chips with a sandwich cuz it puts me over to 3 carbs servings. The reason is I can't get the breads here or the pasta sauce either. We don't have Traders Joes (miss them) We don't even have Orowheat lite bread here in Texas.

    Love ya Debbie....

  12. I read every blog Rosalie. I started my own little pathetic blog, and I don't have any readers, but I gave you credit in it! I am trying to be disciplined and write every day. I have a question for you. Amber had talked about reading the blogs through google reader. I like that I can see what I have read and it keeps a list of all the blogs. However I can't make a comment on there. Do you know why?

Please don't stop writing. I have not had success on the belly flat cure, but I a do believe in it. I still eat too many carbs, and too many snacks. Have the sugar under control for the most part.

You are an inspiration. Sorry you are feeling alittle down, but smile 'cause your readers love you!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
