Thursday of Week 50: The Belly Fat Cure

Good Morning to Team BFC,

First of all, YES purple is my absolute favorite color. I would wear it every day if I could, but we have to change it up once in a while.
@ Lindsay, the other day you asked if I drink coffee with caffeine??  YA - Of course. Decaf is only for the evenings. I wake up and just crave it like most of you. I usually have between 2-3 cups in the morning and then the rest of the day - water. Once a week or so a soda, Zevia or blue skies.
@ Ammie, I am so happy that you have read my blog. Look at what I've done since the last time you saw me.
@Ru, You know what? Don't worry about the mess ups. Today is a new day and this is a new year for us all. We are all here to support each other in what ever help we all need.

The thing is about this Belly Fat Cure, is that there are going to lots of times that you will not loose. Sometimes  even go up. Look at me, I got down to 160 then its back up to 162 all week.

Don't beat yourself up when that happens. I know we all feel like we lost a kidney or like a piece of our heart fell off. But that really didn't happen - right?

Just be consistent. Don't quit. This is one of the reasons that I weigh myself every day. Some say to only do it once a week, but I feel that I can be more accountable to myself this way. I can tell right away if maybe I ate too much that day, instead of waiting to the end of the week and then being so shocked.

So Ru wanted me to post a list of some of the stuff I buy when I go shopping. So here is a list of whatever I can think of. I hope this helps.

Shopping List:

unsweetened Almond Breeze, vanilla or chocolate
Smart and Delicious Wheat tortillas
Ora wheat (wheat or multigrain) sandwich thins
Oasis Low Carb Flaxseed sprouted bread
Sara Lee wheat pitas
Cheese: shredded, pepper jack, low fat string cheese, sargento individual colby and jack, feta, all kinds
cream cheese
cottage cheese w/3 grams of sugar or less per serving
fage yogurt (regular)
turkey bacon
turkey pepperoni
turkey lunchmeat
white tuna in can
chicken in can
bacon bits
croutons
salad dressings with 1-2 grams of sugar in them, (look at labels)
Redi Whip (regular) comes in chocolate too
Shirataki noodles
ragu alfredo sauce
seeds of change, romagna three cheese pasta sauce
heinze mushroom gravy
Lindt 85% dark chocolate bar
Josephs sugar free cookies
Josephs sugar free syrup
natures hollow sugar free preserves
Josephs sugar free peanut butter
natures hollow sugar free catsup
mustard
all kinds of meat or fish
Tyson wings: tequila lime or buffallo (yum)
frozen broccoli in a big bag
big tub of baby spinach
veggies that I use most: yellow onion, mushroom, zuchinni, celery, baby bok choy, asparagus, broccoli, avocado
coffee, creamora powdered cream
Truvia
cinnamon
clear Benefiber, super seed (these or for extra fiber)
Blackberries
Clemmys if you can find it
Zevia or blue skies soda (as a treat - not every day)

Thats really all I can think of right now. I always try to make it easy to fix my meals, no difficult recipes. I also try to post what I ate the day before. I hope it helps.

Yesterday I ate:
breakfast; 2 eggs, cheese, saralee wheat pita w/cheese melted on top and turkey pepperoni, 7 blackberries, coffee blah, blah, blah.
lunch; 2 slices of Oasis low carb bread w/ tuna mixed with mayo, bacon bits, avocado, open faced with pepper jack cheese melted on top. then 6 small josephs sugar free brownie bites.
snack; super seed w/water
dinner; 8 pcs of tyson tequila lime wings, spinach salad, after clemmys w/rediwhip on top.

Maybe I shouldn't have had the clemmys last night because I am still at 162 this morning. Oh well, life's a bitch. But it was soo good!!

Thanks for listening. Lots of love to all of my BFC friends. Please leave you comments.

My thought for the day:

My Destiny, My Choice

My Destiny, My Choice Positive QuotesMy will shall shape the future. Whether I fail or succeed shall be no man’s doing but my own. I am the force; I can clear any obstacle before me or I can be lost in the maze. My choice; my responsibility; win or lose, only I hold the key to my destiny.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
