I have not blogged in a few days because I am in Vegas again with my dad. I got a call on Saturday that he was doing real bad, so I got in my car and drove 4 hours and got here. When I got here he was at a hospice and I saw my dad he was smiling and just like last time, he was doing better when he saw me. I think I am the magic pill. I realize he will go sometime soon, he is 84, but I just wish I had an idea of when. They say he might come home today. So we will see...
Well I have been doing my best to eat properly. I did make a new friend of one of the nurses at the hospice. Her name is Dawn. She was very interested to hear about the BFC and I hope she will join us in our new BFC journey.
One really good thing is - I talked to my 12 year old grandson Tyler last night, and he said he is down 8 lbs so far in 4 days of doing the BFC. I am so excited for him. He says he feels great and is not hungry and likes all the food his mom is fixing for him. He also said he is going to start his own blog so I will post it when he does so you can all go and follow and support him also.
That's all for now. I will do my Monday weigh-in when I get home.
Thanks for listening, Lots of love to all of my BFC friends. Please leave your comments.
My thought for the day:
The greatest good you can do for another is not just share your riches, but reveal to them their own.
Keep on BFC ' n :-)

P.S. don't forget to post all of your weigh-ins for the chart.
Make me feel satisfiedDear Rosalie, Like you, I've been so excited about sharing BFC with people that want to know more about it. The good foods we eat make me feel satisfied and I love the fact that I no longer crave the sugar and carbs , like I used to. Keep BFC'n, girl! I'm proud of you! Darlene
ReplyDeleteRosalie, I hope everything is going well with your father. Hope you have a safe trip back.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you during this difficult time.
ReplyDeleteRosalie, Im so glad you can be there for your Father...my Mom is in a similar situation and I know how difficult it can be. Im sending you a virtual hug! How exciting for Tyler, wow! So cool he wants to start his own blog, too! You have touched so many lives in such a positive way!
ReplyDeleteYou're like sunshine to everyone Rasalie, it's no wonder your Dad does better when you're with him. I'm sure he feels your love. My Dad is also struggling with cancer, now at 82 yr. old. I'm flying back to see him for a week in Nov. We will watch for Tyler's blog. Peace for your Dad and you.
