Friday of week 31: The Belly Fat Cure

Well I finally got my Super Seed in the mail yesterday. I am glad. Ever since I have been using the psyllium instead, I think it is keeping me from loosing any more weight. I haven't taken the psyllium for 2 days and took the Super seed yesterday. Today my weight is back down to 180 lbs. The past couple of days it was back up to 182. I know it's only 2 lbs, but when you are trying to loose, any kind of gain feels like a zillion pounds.

One of my favorite things used to be chinese food. I realized that I can still have it, just not the noodles or rice. So I went and got some for dinner last night. I got some terriaki chicken (no sauce) and veggies. I only ate half so I have the other half for today.

breakfast I had a smart and delicious wheat tortilla w/cheese, 2 strips of turkey bacon, and 2 eggs. And of course 2 cups of coffee w/clear metamucil, half and half. truvia, and all my vitamins.

I am still taking the Reslina. I have been told that the webpage should be up soon so you all can try it too if you like. If you go to the Facebook fan page and click like you will get a discount when the webpage is done.

I am so glad for all the friends I have made in doing the BFC. I love to help and support everyone who is serious in trying to lose weight as I have. I would love to help anybody who needs it. Just friend me on Facebook and we can chat.

In the beginning I blogged a few times about how I wasn't sure if I could do this for ever. You know - I really don't even think about that any more at all. I just wanted to let you know that it's not on my mind any more. I am just grateful to have lost the 58 lbs that I have lost so far.

  4. Hi Brenda, Its called Garden of Life - Super Seed. Its on the widget to the left with all the stuff that I use. If you buy it thru amazon its way cheaper than in the store. Just mix with water. :-)

  7. I was only taken whole psyllium husk it works most the time but the bloating and gas .Whats the difference between the two ?

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
