How is everyone doing today? Staying on track I hope. If not, just shake it off and get up and keep going. It's OK we are all only human after all.
Yesterday Amber posted that the new E-book of Jorge's: Belly Fat Cure Diet is available for download. I don't have a Kindle or reader but some of you may. I am in that one allllllllllll the way in the back she said.
Yesterday I ate the oatmeal for breakfast and then I went to the store after complaining to you all about the lack of food over here. Boy I love and hate Sam's club. I spent $165 just over there. But it's a good thing Hubby wasn't with me cause he always keeps putting stuff in the basket and he said the total would have been $250. haha.
Then I went to Wal-Mart then Sprouts for the healthy stuff.
So I got home around 12:30, put everything away and made lunch. I made a hamburger patty, sauted spinach in EVOO w/garlic, and 2 poached eggs. There I got my protein and I felt way better. Then I had 2 coconut flour chocolate muffins.
Then at 5 o'clock hubby got home and we went to go see the movie Twilight, New Moon. I finally got to see it and loved it. However I kept telling him that he didn't have to go with me cause he didn't even know what the heck was going on. But he was trying to be supportive. I had to keep telling him who everyone was and what was going on. Of course I had popcorn he poured some in a box for me w/no butter and I was hungry and ate the whole thing. I had 2 squares of Ghiradeli 86% in my purse and ate those also w/water.
We got home after 7:30 and I made some wings for hubby, but I felt I shouldn't eat anything else for the day. Then around 8:30 I was hungry and put some RediWhip in a bowl w/a handful of blackberries and raspberries. Then I had some tea before bed.
I guess I did OK cause my weight is 148.5 this morning.
My breakfast this morning of a carb chopper wheat tortilla w/cheese, turkey bacon, 2 eggs w/sauted onions and mushrooms. Yum.
So this is what I wore today. Some Black leggings I got a Kohls and hubby said you look great except for the thighs. Don't worry he said it nice. So I want to show you why I keep saying I think my legs look fat.
So I guess the only hope for those babies are the "E" word!!!!
EXERCISE - yuck....
So yesterday I charged up my remotes for the Wii. I'm gonna give the Active II Personal trainer game a try again.
Thanks for listening. Have a great day:-)
This is PurpleRosy signing off...
My thought for the day:

Hi Rosalie. Now don't fret, we all have our flaws, and I think you look great! It's real hard to spot train one area and you don't need to lose anymore weight, but increasing the size of your muscles will make any area look more toned. I like the leggings, but I would suggest wearing a longer top with them. That's what I do. Your top is cutting you off right at your problem area, so it draws the eye there. I have more of a stomach problem and my legs are fairly thin.I never used to have a belly, but that's why I'm on the Belly Fat Cure! LOL! I'm big boned though. I know people always say that, but even when I was real thin ( pre baby days) I had a large frame, large hands, large shoulders. I think that's why I carry my weight a little better than some. People never believe how much I weigh. Sometimes that makes it harder because I can hide it well. Squats are real helpful to firm up your thighs and butt. Don't laugh, but every night while I brush my teeth, I do 2 minutes of squats. I have one of those sonic care toothbrushes that brushes for 2 minutes. I just stand there and move the brush around and do the squats till it shuts off. It's simple and easy to do. We have a WII, and although I've never used it for working out, I hear it can be really fun to do. Let me know how it works out for you. Hugs from me to you!
ReplyDeleteI think you look fabulous Rosalie! I agree with Pattie, though, that if you don't want to call attention to your thighs, wear a slightly longer top. It's funny that your hubby went to the movie with you, too. Can't wait for the next one now! heh heh. Have you read the books?
ReplyDeleteI have not read any of the books, but love all the movies.
ReplyDeleteI purposely wore that top so you all could see exactly what I look like now.
I'm not going anywhere today so, I just wanted to be comfortable.
I would never wear this out, maybe with a little skirt :-)
I still haven't seen the movie dang it! The books are great, I think you would really enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Pattie that spot reducing is tough, but building muscle with squats and lunges is a great idea. Inner/outer thigh exercises are great too. You would be able to find a ton on the internet. I say this as I have sat on my butt for the last almost 2 months:(
And you look GREAT!
My thighs are my issue too... I call them my saddlebags! All my running doesnt fix them either. So Im going to learn to love them. If you dont have a tablet, ipad, ipod, iphone, android then you can get a Kindle Reader for your Chrome browser too! I think this is a good link: https://read.amazon.com/about or https://chrome.google.com/webstore and type in Kindle. But I think you have an Android phone, right? Just get the Kindle App on it! Congrats on the book! Remember he has 100s of ppl sending him their photos Rosalie, so you are super special! Plus he saved the best for last!
ReplyDeleteI agree, we all have our areas that bother us more than others. Mine is my belly. My legs & butt are pretty skinny. I would love to have a flat belly!!! Oh some day! I wish I could be more regimented & follow BFC but it feels so much like a diet to me & I am just not a happy camper following it.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being in the book,. When it comes out in print, I will be sure to look for you! that is fantastic & Amber is right, he just saved the best for last. :)
((Sherri))
You do look good, and you know how to maintain. It's true we all have 'something' about our bodies. Mine is my belly. You're a curvy girl-embrace it!
ReplyDeleteWhat they said...We all have our problem areas...mine is my flabby chicken wings..hate them! But hey....our flaws make us individuals and not from the same mold as everyone or for that matter anyone else. Strut those thighs girl!! They make you more curvy!
ReplyDeleteI am not a big fan of the twilight series but my daughter loves it. I think you look great Rosalie and like everyone has said we all have our trouble areas that we hate. Unfortunately exercise seems to be the only way to correct some of these hard areas. Thanks again for leaving me such a positive comment the other day it really made my day.
ReplyDeleteYou look great, leggings draw attention to the thighs on anyone. Just don't get skin colored ones LOL. I saw a pic on pintrest of a girl wearing them and she looked naked. LOL. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteI was just wondering on my blog why our trouble spots are the last to go!! To be honest, I don't think you have much of a trouble spot left anywhere! Now if I wore legging material around my Belly - that would be a serious problem, lol!
ReplyDeleteYou look great! Those few pounds that you are still losing are probably coming from that "trouble spot", which does seem to be the last thing to go for most of us.
