I am so tired right now. My arms hurt - we have been putting down paper, taping, painting the edges with the primer. I have been squatting and on the floor and bending over so much my back actually hurts right now.
But I am SO HAPPY. We have been making some great changes. I
ll show you a couple;
(from the other owner) This is a window in the kitchen and We removed the shutter - the color is horrible in the wall and doesn't match anything - actually all the colors in the house are way too dark and with the shutters it makes the house look like a tomb.
Also her pic - the dining room window - shutter GONE
(her pic) She had plantation shutters on both sliding doors and they are horrible - GONE
Do you see 4 colors here?? And look forward the shutter is off the slider - wow what a difference. I know you're gonna say "YOU DON"T LIKE PLANTATION SHUTTERS?" Everyone else did. NO - but I will keep them in the other 3 bedrooms - FOR NOW anyways.
I had helpers today - brought the dogs and they were so excited when we got there they ran back and forth smiling with all that room but they kept getting prickers in their paws. The back yard is full of weeds and rocks - we have to clean.
Lisa my sis dropped off Maria Thursday afternoon and she is sleeping over for a few nights to help. She is trying to remove some weeds here.
These were the 4 colors I chose and we tried them on the walls - we all three like the bottom middle the best.
So this trimmer guy comes over today while we are working and offers to trim the tree and what ever. So I ask him how much for blah - blah - blah? He says $445, I go ask hubby and he says NO we don't have any money left. Then the guy says OK $395, Hubby still says NO. OK he says $350. NO hubby says - too much - I tell him its really not. The guy leaves and comes back a while later and says $295 - hubby says NO, OK he says $240. What a deal we got for him being rude :-)
This is the front before. There is 4 giant birds of paradise that are too big and awful. He removed the all including roots - trimmed the tree and removed the 2 awful decrepid dog houses in the back.
Now look HOW CUTE!!
Later everybody - gotta eat a spinach salad and rest up for the morning. Oh what fun Work all day.This is PurpleRosy signing off...
Keep on BFC ' n :-)
