Hello Friends,
How is everything today?? How are you all doing in your weight loss?? I would like to know - We would all like to know if there is anything we can do to help.
I know you might have seen my table in some of my pictures. I am pretty crafty, I can crochet, knit, sew and all kinds of stuff. This is the table I have had since my kids were little and the chairs had a ugly dirty tan color material so quite a while back I re-covered each chair with a different fabric. I think it looks so cool and every time Hubby says to sell it - I Tell him I will "we are keeping this FOREVER"!!
Do something Crafty today - It's fun and usually cheap!!
Yesterday's breakfast, 2 eggs, toast with my homemade hazelnut butter, avocado, a few blackberries and 1/2 hot link that hubby had left over.Hubby had the only day off he has had for a while so we ran some errands together and wound up at The Ontario Mills Mall for lunch. We ate at this place called Cajun Grill. I had pepper chicken and veggies in a bowl. I still tasted a bit of a sweet sauce even though it was spicy. Trust me I drank lots of water after.
When we got home it was way after 4pm and I took the furry girls for a over 2 mile walk right away. This might be the last day of over 70 for a while. Its supposed to get cooler. Boo Got back after 5.
Later for dinner I just had a tuna-spinach salad. With a little mayo, bacon bits and cheese. For desert I had some protein bites and rediwhip.
My breakfast this morning was a muffin made with a few blueberries and some walnuts crushed. I don't know what I did different but it was real good today. I put in some baking powder, vanilla stevia drops, 1 tbsp of each - chia seeds, coconut flour, flaxseed, and almond flour, 1 egg, and some USVAM. nuked it for 2 minutes and I topped it with butter and Nature's Hollow.
GOOD MORNING :-) |
I plan on picking up Maria tomorrow to hang out with me for a couple days.
Thanks for listening and have a great day.
This is PurpleRosy signing off...
Keep on BFC ' n :-)

You sound like you are doing well today. Being crafty is a great idea - always so fulfilling! :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I had more time to be crafty. I haven't crocheted in several years and I keep wanting to dust of my sewing machine.
ReplyDeleteI'm like Trina, I used to crochet (my grandma taught me) and I use to sew, but haven't done either in quite awhile. I just love the way you covered the chairs!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting for your husband!! Wow, the Grammys that's awesome!! I sure hope he gives you lots of good stories to share with us!
That's great that you can do all that sewing and knitting and stuff. I admire that! Can't wait to hear how the Grammies works out for your hubby. Share the stories with us! XO
ReplyDeleteI admire people that can knit and crochet. I think it's a talent. I believe I think too much about what I'm doing and mess it up! I used to sew when the kids were young but haven't sewn in awhile. Have been checking out easy quilts on Pinterest though!
ReplyDeleteYou are so good at finding something 'on plan' to eat when you are out!
Hi Rosalie, :)
ReplyDeleteI was reading Beth's blog and she mentioned that she is going the NO wheat route. I saw that she wondered if stopping wheat would help your tremors. You know that I have essential tremors also. I tried the "NO wheat" route and it gave me THE worst headaches and increased my tremors. I sure couldn't recommend it. The first day that I simply added back one single slice of whole wheat bread, the headaches were gone and my tremors were livable once again. Have a happy week!

Thanks Linda, I have no intention of ever giving up wheat it does not bother me in any way and I don't eat it like 3 times a day - only once every day or every other day. Tremors are NOT associated with wheat - that is just silly :-)
DeleteI think I have knitted 40+ dish cloths since I took up my needles again. A friend that works for hospice said that they love to have prayer shawls donated and would I want to make them? That may be my next project.
ReplyDeleteYour chairs look great and I am sure the table has a lot of memories!
I'm excited to hear about the Grammy's too!
I hope he doesn't fall asleep!
