Today is my 1 year anniversary of doing the Belly Fat Cure. To the right I posted a picture of myself wearing one of my favorite pants that I used to wear. They were a very skin tight size 18. I have never put them on until now. I held them out and, it literally looked like I could fit another person in them.
Hubby wants to do a video interview of me to post on You-tube for my 1 year anniversary. When it is finished I will post it.
I have lost 80 lbs in the 1 year that I have been doing the Belly Fat Cure. I tell anyone and everyone about the BFC. I feel that if I could do it and the age of 52, that anyone could.
I don't really exercise. I just walk every day with my 2 dogs. Maybe I should have though. I recently purchased the Active 2 - personal trainer game to go with my Wii. I am attempting to try to do that to tighten up the loose thighs I still have. I tried it 1 time then had to go back to my dad's. You all know that story. So I am going to try it this week again. It said you have to do it 4 times a week for 20 minutes each. I think I can do that. We shall see....
The other day I was called the incredible shrinking woman, by someone who hasn't seen me since I started the BFC. What an honor to be called such a title!!
To anyone new, don't be confused with Jorge's new book called the Fast Track. That is where you eliminate all the whole grain carbs out of your diet. I am living proof that you don't need to do that to be successful. Just stick with the regular Belly Fat Cure book (the blue and white one).
It will really work if you are determined like I was and be very strict with yourself. Once in a while - take 1 or 2 bites of your favorite thing at a special occasion like I did. Just don't eat the whole thing. Never do that!! Just a bite or 2 will make you feel kind of normal like everyone else.
Yesterday I ate:
breakfast; 2 slices of Oasis, low carb sprouted flaxseed bread mad into french toast, Joseph's sugar free syrup, butter 2 turkey bacon, 7 blackberries, coffee w/truvia, clear benefiber, powdered cream, cinnamon.
lunch: 2 eggs w/sauted onions, mushrooms, zuchinni, cheese, and 1/2 wheat pita.
snack; celery w/hummus
dinner; chicken wings, and a spinach salad w/feta cheese, bacon bits, creamy balsalmic dressing. Then some chocolate and white Redi-Whip and 2 squares of Lindt 85% dark chocolate.
To anyone that needs help - I am on Facebook. Friend me and I am happy to help anyone that is in need of a little support.
I have other BFC friends that the links to their blogs are on the list below also. We are all here to help and support one another.
Thanks for listening. Love to all of my BFC friends. Please leave your comments.
My thought for the day:
Keep on BFc ' n :-)

You look awesome Rosalie! Just wondering...do you a lot more energy now? I have 2 young kids & there's not a day that goes by that I don't feel tired.
ReplyDeletemeant to ask do you HAVE a lot more energy? Just noticed your nice waist too :).
ReplyDeleteFirst off let me say WOW!! YOur new picture looks amazing!! Look how great you have done! I can't wait til I can take a picture like that with my size 18 pants. :) You have stuck to it and you are truly an inspiration to me to stick with this diet no matter how I may want to sneak sometimes I shouldn't. This week I have turned down a lot of things I shouldn't have and I survived so I am proud for that. Please change my weight stuff on the side bar. When I restarted at the beginning of the week I was 222.6 and now today starting week 2 I am down to 214.4 :) So happy for the 8 lb. weight lose this week. I know it won't happen every week that much, but I just wanna say thank you for that day on the phone you helped me with the diet and other things. It has helped more then you can know. :) :) ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteI meant to say up above, "This week I turned down a lot of things I should not eat and survived" I type wrong and there is no way to edit ;)

WOW!!!!! One word...AMAZING!!!! So much to be proud of over the past 365 days Rosalie!! Your dedication and diligence has paid off. You are now officially a "Skinny Minnie"! Congrats girlfriend!! ((Sherri))
ReplyDeleteYou definitely earned the title of the Incredible Shrinking Women Rosalie. You got a tiny waist girl. I don't even think mine gets like that when I am at my goal weight. So congratulations, and Happy Anniversary. I think Jorge should use the top picture on the right in his next book, video for the BFC. Your skin even has a healthy glow to it. You don't look like you're even in your forty's. Have you ever had your blood profiled from the Dr.s for HBP, Cholesterol, Diabetes, Vitamin D, etc? When I lose the rest of this weight of 30lb. I'm going to have one done so I can compare it to mine a few years ago. Just curious! Have a great week, and it's good to have you posting again. Make sure you have clothes on when your hubby makes that video!
ReplyDeleteWow Rosalie you look great. Can you believe it has been a year and 80lbs? Let us know when you have your video made so we can watch it.
