First I just want to say that the Belly Fat Cure ROCKS!!
It is 8pm on thursday and I finished my walk over an hour ago, 2.8 miles today. I feel great! I love the weather over here. It does get a bit warm and sometimes I have to wait until the sun starts to set a little. I am still trying to get rid of the cottage cheese. HAHA.
What I ate today:
breakfast; Uncle Sam's cereal w/truvia, and unsweetened almond breeze, 2 1/2 turkey bacon, (the dogs got the rest), a few blackberries (ran out), coffee, blah, blah, blah. S-1/C-2
lunch; a jenny-O turkey patty on 2 oasis bread, cheese, hummus and mustard for flavor, spinach salad w/feta cheese, bacon bits, balsalmic dressing. S-3/C-1
snack; pork rinds 0/0
dinner; 6 meat balls, 6 asparagus, broccoli, s few spoons of pesto sauce, redi whip for desert. S-3/C-0
In the beginning when I started the Belly Fat Cure - I thought: I could never do this forever.
I said: this is a diet because we can't eat like everyone else - so it's a diet.
But I have said this before, It's all in your mind. You have to keep telling yourself that you are not allowed that other stuff anymore. You must be very strict with yourself until it conditions in you and becomes part of you. So you won't ever doubt yourself.
You have to do the Belly Fat Cure 100% for this to work. You cannot cheat or think: that you can have artificial sweeteners like splenda or diet sodas. Your whole heart has to be in it at least for the first few months.
After a few months of doing the BFC it gets much easier and just becomes like breathing. I could never imagine ever doing anything else or eating the way I did before.
Hubby and I used to go to the movies, eat of popcorn, (which I still do on the BFC, just no butter now), I used to eat a whole box of Milk Duds, ( what was the use of going to the movies without popcorn and milk duds), Then on the way home we realized that we didn't eat dinner and would stop at taco bell and get 2-3 double decker tacos and eat them and probably go to bed 1 or 2 hours later.
How do you think I got to 238lbs and a size 20???
Well not any more!! I feel so GREAT!! I just want to share with everyone. Let me know what areas you might need help with and I will do my best along with the rest of all the girls that read this. We will all help!!
Well thanks for listening. Lots of love to all. Don't forget to visit and follow the other blogs on the list below. PLEASE??? They need a ton of support too.........

My thought for the day:
A New Path
Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
I LOVE THIS ONE!!!
Keep on BFC ' n :-)

Rosalie you have done such a great job on the BFC and I cant say over the past couple of months I have been on it 100% but I know once I do get back to it 100% the weight will start coming off again. Wish the weather here was nice and warm like yours it would make walking outside a little easier.
ReplyDeleteRock on girl! Great post. One question....why no butter on the popcorn? Isn't that ok on the BFC? I like my popcorn plain anyway, but just wondering. I love your thoughts for the day. Great one today and I love the photos too. Take care and have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteTrue story, thanks for the words of encouragement. :)
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Rosalie!

I would like to join in on the Goal list and I also have a question about the diet. First, my name is Sachiko, I am currently 210 and my goal weight is 150.
ReplyDeleteYour story is very inspiring and you look amazing! I think I have the diet clear, but wanted to make sure. Is the overall rule that I cannot eat more than 3 sugar grams and 6 servings of carbs per day, regardless of the combo or time? Meaning, I can either have 2 carb servings over 3 meals or 2 meals with 0 carbs and 1 meal with 6 servings?
Does that make sense?
I am not sure if you will see this but, you are allowed 15/6 - which means 15 grams of sugar and 6 servings of carbs per day.
Delete1 serving of carbs is up to 20 grams.
NEVER go over 5/2 or 5 grams of sugar and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
I have been trying to eat low carb for the past 3 weeks. Started with the Atkins diet and then I found Jorge's book on Amazon. I started last week watching my sugar. But I have only lost 4 lbs total! Getting very discouraged. I weight 265 lbs so I should be loosing weight. I need help or I am afraid I will just give up. At this rate, I will be 300 lbs by the end of the year if I dont do something.
