Well I woke up this morning to rain. I don't understand - its not supposed to rain in California right? That's what the song says anyway and it has been doing that a lot lately.
I did manage to get in a 2 mile walk yesterday and a 1 mile walk today.
My breakfast this morning was pancakes and berries.
I first put 2 tbsp of chia seeds i n a bowl and let soak in some water for a little bit to soften, added 2 tbsp of cream cheese, 2 eggs, 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder, cinnamon, vanilla stevia and a little USVAM.
After Hubby woke up (working nights) he wanted to go to Frys Electronics. The only one near us is 45 minutes away and we wound up there for like an hour. By that time it was almost 2 and YUP I was hungry. We stopped at Carl's Jr and I got a jalapeno turkey burger wrapped in lettuce and ate about 4-5 of his fries.
I was trying to take a picture to show you my new pants I got last week but it is not easy by yourself. I took 5 pictures and believe it or not this was the best one. LOL
They are black with purple Roses on them - Woo Hoo.
We have 2 LLC's Corporations and for the past 2 years have been trying to close on of them. Our tax guy KEITH WEST in Pasadena is a real asshole!! and has not taken care of this. Avoids us and never returns our calls. SO we have been trying to take care of this BIG FAT MESS ourselves, taking to the Franchise Tax Board on our own. If we don't get everything done and filed by the 31'st of This month (January) we will owe another $800 in taxes for nothing. SHEESH!! We have an appointment at a new tax guy in the morning - wish us luck.
I saw online a dip made out of cauliflower and tried to incorporate it into our pizzas so I made this:
My dinner a cauliflower-ish pizza plain and a salad.
! cup of cauliflower shredded
1 egg, garlic, red pepper, italian spices, onion pwdr
jalapenos cut up - DUH
1 tbsp of mayo, 2 tbsp of cream cheese
and some shredded cheese about 1/2 c mixed kinds.
Mixed up and formed into 2 pizzas on a Silpat on top of a cookie sheet and baked in the oven at 400 for about 20 minutes. Tastes different this way and good.
Just made a new batch of Chocolate-Protein-Bites. They are great to freeze also. |
OK-well That's it for now. Big Hugs to you all.
This si PurpleRosy signing off...
Keep on BFC ' n :-)

I'm always California dreaming! I was watching a show today where this couple was looking for a retirement home in the Dominican ... I was thinking that would be nice too.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your new tax guy. I have to try those protein bites. XO
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your tax guy! I can't wait to see what the tax man has in store for us this year!
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of protein powder do you buy?
MRM whey is sweetened with stevia and 1 gram of sugar per scoop
DeleteThose pants are perfect for you and your blog!!
ReplyDeleteThere are my favorite protein bites again. I love them so much that I can not make them for awhile. Boy, they look good too!
Love your new purple rosy pants! I agree with others, the protein bites look so delicious!
ReplyDeleteThose pants are so perfect for you....purple and roses! Now that you are skinny you can wear a print! :) Anyhow, I hope youget your tax stuff taken care. There are so many flaky pro's out there. Our Architect andhis drafter have had our remodel plans (and $400) for over a year and I keep nagging my husband to take care of it/make it happen.....hubby really doesn't want me to take care of it because I will be nasty!
ReplyDeleteHope you and the girls get a break from this rain today and get some walking in.
