Hi All,
First I want to say how very PROUD of you I am for coming here - for trying to get healthy and losing weight. I know sometimes - just trying is so hard. There is no big secret or trick to what I did. All I did was change the way I ate and .... well you see the results.
That really is me in the pictures on the right. Well the all the way right one. Sometimes when I look at my before picture - I think....WHO WAS THAT?? I can't even remember that person anymore.
When you make this decision to get healthy, and that's what this is - not a diet but a lifestyle change - you will not regret it. It won't be easy at first. Nothing in life worth it is. Your body must get used to eating healthy. I used to sit and rock every night and hold my tummy - saying I'm HUNGRY!!!
Yup - it took me 2 whole months until It got easier for me, but then after that - it just became habit.
Don't take my word for it. Don't just blindly do what anyone says without researching it first yourself. This is what worked for me and it just might be what works for you too. Just start eating REAL - HEALTHY foods.
ARE YOU BRAVE ENOUGH TO TRY??
We have quite a few new people on here that really need your support. So everyone comment and help one another. Without each other to turn to - what do we have anyway?
OK I will leave you with one more thought for the day.

ReplyDeleteHealthy eating is the way to go! I can hardly wait until our Farmer's Market open here in mid April and I can really load up on locally, home grown veggies that are pesticide free and no hormones, etc. Have patience and determination b/c it is sooo worth it. You will have more energy, your clothes will feel better on you, your skin looks better too, not to mention...taking off the pounds. Rosalie has so many good recipes and tips for us, that it makes it much easier and tastier. Try to experiment and see what suits your tastes....just stay away from overloading on carbs and keep sugar at bay! We can all do this and as Rosalie says, make it a way of life!
