Those kind of days...

Good Morning my Friends,

Well we made it thru 11-11-11 without any weird happening on the news. I thought for sure there would be something.

Yesterday Hubby and I went into Best Buy and got me the new Razr phone. I guess he pre-ordered it a little while back and put down $50. We always get our phones at Best Buy lately. They have this Buy-Back ins that you can pay for when you buy a new phone. When I got my Droid-X in January I paid and extra $39.95 for it. When I traded in my phone to buy the new one, they gave me $240. WOW, that was worth it.
Here is the link to the Verizon website if you want to see what it is:

My meals yesterday:
breakfast:
2 poached eggs w/cheese on top in my micro-wave thingy, berries, carb chopper wheat tortila w/cheese and avocado inside. S-3/C-1
lunch: a spinach salad and 2 more almond crust little pizzas. I am kind of hooked on those. 3 days in a row now. HAHA.
PATTIE: this is seeds of change, I buy it at Sprouts mkt.
dinner: chicken and veggies of broccoli, zuchinni and a bit of cabbage from the chinese fast food place. And some gingerbread tea and 2 almond cookies for desert.

Thursday night I was so bored so I went looking at my yarn for something to make. I crochet and knit and sew, BTW. I found this pattern for a scarf and this is what I made so far. almost done.
Cute Huh?
Do you ever have those kind of days when you feel skinny? That's how I felt yesterday. I felt like my stomach was skinny and then this morning I weighed 149.5. If you really pay attention to your body - you can tell how you are doing on you eating. If you are eating the right things or not.

So today we might go to the movies and I can eat popcorn and not worry about it. Tonight at 7:30 we are supposed to go see Hubby's daughter perform in Irvine. She dances and goes on tour occasionally with artists as a back-up dancer, but this is a different performance.

It's cold and rainy over here this weekend. Have a safe time whatever you all are doing. Thanks for listening. Lots of love to all.

This is PurpleRosy signing off...

My thought for the day:

You Were Born With A Calling

You Were Born With a Calling Positive QuoteEach person is born with a calling. It is your task to discover what that calling is and find a way to make that calling a reality.
Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  1. Crocheting is so relaxing. You're a true domestic! And yeah for you-I love that you felt 'skinny'. I will feel skinny too some day. Thanks to all of your support.
In the mean time I'm happy that when I pass by a mirror--I sometimes look! I use to avoid...anyone ever do that?

  2. Hi Rosalie,
I love the scarf you made. Have you ever thought of selling your crafts for a living? I would totally buy one! You should set up an Etsy.com storefront.

Anyway, I hope you have a great weekend!

  3. I didn't know you sew and such! Did you know I own my own sewing business? It's called Sew-Krafty (my last name is Kraft) ;-)

You are so right about "listening" to our bodies...I know when I'm hitting the mark and not before I ever step on the scale!

  4. I love those skinny days! I totally agree with you, when you listen to your body you are usually right on. I could tell when I woke up that first day (and each one after that) that I was going to be 'heavy.' Can't wait to have that skinny feeling again!

  5. I know what you mean too. Some days you feel skinny and some days you feel heavy. For me the scale is usually the same, but I can feel the difference. I used to crochet but it's been awhile. I also used to sew, but now its just costumes and sometimes curtains. I love Etsy.com with all its beautiful handmade creations.

  6. Crafty girl! I used to knit lots of hats and scarves...until my kids said "enough"! Nice yarn was pretty darn spendy too. I want to learn to sew someday:)
You are doing so great on your weight. It just shows all of the people that follow you that you can continue this way of life, while living a full life!
    That was a nice hubby!
