Hello All,
Well I am feeling a little bit down this morning. I was down 2 lbs earlier in the week, but now I am back to the same weight as last week. I really have to practice what I preach - right? Just shake it off and move on. At least I am not up.
Yesterday hubby and I spent the day picking out plants for the back yard (remember we just moved 2 months ago) and then planting them. OUCH! All my muscles hurt and I have a back ache and a sunburn. I have also been walking a lot lately. Every day. Anywhere from 1-3.5 miles. I love it and it makes me feel real good. I am hoping that the exercise is making my weight stay because muscle is heavier than fat.
I know my hormones are all out of wack also because I am 51 and still get my monthly. Sometimes I feel them take a big nose dive. I feel like I crashed inside. I can actually fell it now - it's weird. Well anyways I am just trying to think of things why my weight has not gone down.
Ok that's it for the whining. I'm Done!
Yesterday I ate:
breakfast: 2 eggs, smart and delicious wheat tortilla w/cheese, 2 strips of turkey bacon, 8 blackberries, 2 cups of coffee w/truvia, half and half and cinnamon and clear metamucil, and of course all my vitamins, Reslina, and Barleans.
Lunch: I made a pizza with a smart and delicious tortilla, cheese, pepperoni, and seeds of change pasta sauce, and mushrooms, and a few dabs of ricota cheese.
Dinner: a spinach salad with tuna and mayo and bacon bits, and some blue cheese crumbles.
2 squares of 85% Lindt dark chocolate.
Our new BFC Moto! WE CAN DO THIS!
Congratulations to Lisa for going down 5 whole pounds last week and to David for losing 1 lb.

I know how you feel, this was my weight problem this week. I lost 2 and over the weekend gained the 2 back :( Oh well we gotta keep on keeping on. :) Good luck with your week to come and visiting your father. Hope all will be okay.

ReplyDeleteHORROR-MOANS! OMG...don't get me started! Someday...we'll have to talk!
Please know I'm praying for your safe trip and for your Dad... I lost my Dad in '91 and still miss the heck out of him! Enjoy your time with him and kiss, hug and tell him You Love Him...A Lot! XOXO
Rosalie,
ReplyDeleteJust remember what you keep telling us....keep on moving and dont give up lol. I finally had a weight loss after weeks being the same. I am now 207 yippee. That has been my lowest weight in awhile. Hope your week goes well and will be praying for you and your Dad.
Hugs to you, Rosalie.
ReplyDeleteI've gained 4 lbs. this past week while my sister was here visiting. BUT, no fear, I'm not stressed out. We ate out every single day, sometimes twice a day, and enjoyed a sangria every single night. It was a wonderful visit. Times like these are treats, so I don't worry about weight gain, especially because I know at least half the gain is from salt/sugar bloat which will be gone in no time.
Hang in there, everyone! The collective weight loss is the bigger picture that we need to keep in front of us, not the weekly weigh-in. You are all doing great!!!
Rosalie you're doing great! As you've shared with all of us the weight can change a few pounds but if we stick with it we'll get the results we want! Wishing you a good week and a blessed time with your Dad.
