Saturday of week 29: The Belly Fat Cure

I really had a great power walk yesterday with my new shoes (shape-ups). I walked about 2 1/2 miles, felt great after. A little sore with those funny rocker shoes. LOL! The more weight I lose, the more I am loving walking every day. Luckily I have my 2 dogs to keep me company. I go around once with them then put them home, and go again.
Well I just spent the last hour or more preparing cauliflower for that cauliflower pizza I keep hearing so much about. You can use frozen, I used fresh cauliflower, steamed it, then shredded in the food processor. (which is what took so long. Cause I didn't know how to shred with it). LOL.
You use 1 cup of shredded cauliflower
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
1 egg, and some garlic powder
mix together and bake in oven and spray pan with pam. ( I'm gonna use tin foil first, then pam)
bake till golden then remove and put some sauce, (I will use seeds of change - romagna three cheese)
then cheese and what ever toppings you want. and put back in oven till cooked.

I can't wait to try it for dinner tonight.

Then walk as usual.

I went to the store to buy some super seed (my afternoon fiber), but the store has been out for weeks now and I ran out. I have mentioned that I really need my afternoon fiber - so I was forced to get some psyllium husks. I usually mix it with some MRM whey protein powder (sweetened w/stevia and way cheaper then Jay Robbs) and water. So here I am. Psyllium again - YUCK!

Well thanks for listening. Love to all of my BFC friends. Please leave your comments

My thought for a day: Being defeated is often only a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  1. The recipe sounds great. I will have to give it a try. I agree with you about the psyllium I am not a fan of it either.

  2. I ended up getting super seed from amazon and it was here in 2 days. Not sure if that helps you out or not. I love the pizza, my neighbor just gave me some cauliflower from their garden since they had more than they can eat.. More pizza for me :)

  3. I can't wait to hear what you thought of that pizza; I have been hearing about it all over, too. Thanks for your comment earlier today!! :) I'm also curious to see what you continue to think of those Shape-Ups; I just heard a comedienne talk about those and it was funny (she loves hers).

  4. Hi,
I wanted to let you know I got a pair of the Shape-Ups as well. They really help my heel pain and if there is any extra toning, all the better.. Since it is summer I splurged and got the Tone-up flip flops, since I can't walk barefoot. Keep an eye for Kohls to have a sale and get them with the 30% off. It brought my Shape-ups down to $56, which i didn't think was bad. I hope you enjoyed your pizza. I love it. I don;t have a food processor, so I just cooked it and used a hand masher.. I put mushrooms and turkey pepperoni on mine..
    Enjoy your day,
